Video Game Collections
« on: March 09, 2013, 08:48:06 AM »
So ive got a pretty nice video game collection all up by my standard, full of games that I regularly play, as Im a bit like that and will play my games over and over again.
Ive got some good games and some bad games and a few just okay games.
I didnt actually realise how big it was and how many games I had until I felt like typing them all up one day and the list just got bigger and bigger. Helps as well that as I am studying video games a lot of these I got for research and can then claim back on tax, and that my family pretty much only buys me games as presents because thats theyre safest bet
I was wondering about the collections that all the other gamers on here have. Feel free to post the entire list or just an estimate with a few of your favorites

I have games going back to the PS1 era...  And I currently have something like 80+ that I don't remember entirely and buried in storage boxes...

Atari 2500
NES
SNES
N64
PS1
GBA
PS2
Gamecube
DS
and finally my PS3.

Yeaah, I doubt I could list every game I own (or owned) on all of my retired and current game systems. We - that being my brother and I - were a Nintendo family until the last five years or so. We still have all of those systems (which still work), but he's moved onto PC games and the XBox, while I've dived into indie games and continued my obsession with handheld Nintendo games.

My favorites, also known as the games that I regularly replay because they're fun and delightful!
Golden Sun (GBA)
Fire Emblem (All of them! GBA, NDS, N3DS)
The Legend of Zelda (Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess)
Auditorium by Cipher Prime
Phoenix Wright (All of them! NDS)
Diablo II: Lord of Destruction (PC)
Paper Mario & sequels (N64, GameCube, N3DS)
Yoshi's Story (N64)
Pokemon Silver/Gold (GBC)
Harvest Moon (N64, N3DS)
Machinarium (PC, Android)
World of Goo (PC, Android)
Eufloria (PC, Android)
Guns of Icarus Online (PC)

I'm with jcsimpson. I've had too many systems with too many games on them to come up with a complete list. As for systems I've owned...

Tandy Color Computer 3 (First home computer when I was a youngin)
NES
Super NES
Gameboy
Gamegear
Playstation
Playstation 2
Playstation 3
Various other computers of course including a 286, an early Pentium, and several since they quit quantifying computers that way.
Currently thanks to Steam I have something like 125 computer games (although I think it includes expansion packs and such as well)

Some of my favorite all time games?

The Police Quest and Kings Quest series. (Used to play a lot of adventure games of that sort)
Final Fantasy (Especially 1, 4, 6, 7, 8, 10, 10-2)
Chrono Trigger & Chrono Cross
Street Fighter 2 & Alpha
Ratchet & Clank (pretty much the entire series)
Disgaea

I'm the same as Jcsimpson.

I've been into video games since the first Metal Gear game on MSX.

If I'd have to name favorites , just think of the widely known titles , I played the originals before they got the hype. :)
