So Long and Thanks for all the Fish(Hitchikers game)

Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide

"It is known that there are an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the Universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the whole Universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the products of a deranged imagination."

There is a number of ways we could do a sexy space adventure in the hitchhikers universe. Someone could play the character equivalent of Zaphod Beeblebrox who stole the Heart of Gold after becoming the president of the galaxy. Then he/she could wander the universe getting into trouble with various hitchhikers and maybe some survivors of the planet earth after the vogons blew it up.

Nothing wrong with taking the characters from the books as arch-types and making entirely new characters for your personal tastes and kinks. Someone would have to play a Arthur Dent equivalent, in the sense that he is the only one that has any sense. The sort of person that likes to point out that there is a hull breach, which may warrant stopping the orgy long enough to deal with this minor problem.

I will control the setting and the plot twists and story, along with being Eddie and Marvin. Gotta have those two.

... life is so not fair. I've run out of time and now super bogged down and now there's a Hitchhiker's game...
Good luck and love the idea...

Awwww....  And I thought that I had the perfect dreary personality to take on the Marvin roll.  After all, nobody ever tries to cheer me up or like me.  :)

I'm sorry, I have to do this!  42!

I could so do any of the characters or create a new one in this universe so easily!

In for this, I can see myself playing the Arthur Dent type. The robe will have to stay of course, though on a womanly body who's to complain?

The amount of things you could do in this roleplay is...infinite.

"Oh no! The Belgonions have gotten onto the ship!"
"Is that a bad thing?"
"Well, not unless you want to be in sexual heat for the next 24 hours!"
"How so?"
*Opens the Book - Don't Panic*
"Belgonions burrow inside their hosts brains and make them sexually 'on it' for 24 hour periods"
"FUCK ME NOW!"
"Shit, they got Alan"

Huh, 4 players already. We have to keep the arch types, but feel free to make your own characters.

Dent - Affable English dude/chick who has no idea what is going on and just wants tea.
Trisha - Smart human boy/girl who actually has intelligent ideas.
Zaphod - crazy lunatic who "owns" the ship.
Ford Prefect - Traveler extraordinaire that actually has survival skills out in the galaxy.

Applying for Dent. Could I be so bold as to ask for a male to female gender transformation?

My character is originally your typical English guy who contacts a dangerous near-fatal alien disease that does crazy things to it's host for a couple weeks before killing them, including changing their gender. Another character in this roleplay saves my life but can't reverse the changes. I think the level-headedness mixed with the gender change could be funny/sexy.

Would be more funny for you to have the gender change thanks to the infinite improbability drive.

That could work, I thought it was only temporary though. (Only seen the movie)

The guide notes that you should dress appropriately while using the infinite improbability drive, since you'll never know what you'll turn up as when it powers down to normality. And really, what is normal anyway?

I think the first plot will be Zaphod hearing rumors of a better mixed drink then the Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster and goes off searching for it. Which does exist thanks to "...and another thing."

When I get 4 character sheets.

Name: Herbert Canton
Age: 34
Appearance: http://images.4chan.org/s/src/1362576429731.jpg

Backstory: Originally a typical south-east londoner and man who enjoyed the simple things in life; a beer, the beautiful game and his nagging wife. All this fell to crap of course as the universe had other plans for him, for one reason or another (which will be developed in the roleplay) he lost his past life for a new one. Now a beautiful girl aboard a spaceship with the oddest crew imaginable his mundane life has been turned upside down.
