So Sorry
« on: January 20, 2013, 08:31:08 PM »
I am just sending a Heads up to Veks and who ever helps with the Email stuff.   I accidentally clicked the junk button when I was trying to close my messenger down to read a email.

You might be able to go to your junk folder and click 'Not Junk' on the email.  I know I've had to do that with a few (non-Elliquiy) newsletters I was receiving.

I suspect that probably counts for something in the mail-server spam-sorting scheme.  (I know that my newsletters haven't been dinged as spam since then.)

Since gmail has a Span button right beside the Archive button I frequently send things to Spam when I want to archive them.  Marking them as Not Spam stops the flow of email into the Spam folder.

It's fine if you mark things as "Not Spam/Junk", though I only get notified when people mark things as spam.

Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL and co are aware that 'mistakes' occur, although if you're 'small' getting anything done with Yahoo is a Herculean effort. Have had nothing but wonderful interactions with the folks at AOL, however, as well as Hotmail (even if they're extremely terse. Can certainly understand why, however).
