I for am looking for players who might be interested in a Lab\Mad Scientist type set up. Not your typical set up, the Lab is not government funded and not affiliated with any government group. Its experimentation is done for a large variety of reasons, torture is both physiological and physical.  No one knows who funds them except for the department heads and they are not telling any one.

The Lab itself if a large faculty with several departments, partly under ground and very secure, its location is unknown and kept secret. This is placed in the future so they will have assess to things like nanite tech and even some stolen alien tech.

I am looking for any number of players, any gender, any sexuality, humans, cyborgs, most non humans, even some fandom characters that have been pulled into this world by accident, pretty much anything non mythical. In other words no vampires, dragons, and the like. Sorry.

I will need both captives and the Men\Woman in White Coats aka scientists.  The scientists will refer to the captives by number or as animal or lab animal, its more degrading to the captive

So before I really start working on a plot and things along that line I really would like to see if I can get any interest going.

Some of the kinks I can see

Medical
torture
non con
transformation (with in limits, nanites can only do so much)
bondage
humiliation

characters that I'd like to see

humans
anthros (think more of animals that have been genetically engineered to be smarter then normal and be bipedal but still be animals in at their core)
non humans
transformers
cyborgs

Darrow Huck

I might be interested in playing a captive.

Angie

I'd like to be a scientist, a master in the field of human anatomy, asked to use her expertise to study the effects of just about anything the scientists have access to on the human body. Drugs, genetic engineering, even something as simple as the effects of deprivation on an anthro is her field of research. At first, she views it professionally, but soon starts enjoying her work a little too much.

You are more then welcome to, human, none human, pretty much anything short of something from a  magic verse.

She already sound interesting.

I dare say the Lab is one place where depravity is something that will happen a lot. After all, no one will come looking for the test subjects for the most part and some of the scientist may have 'side experiments' whose sole purpose is to satisfy what depravity's their captor has

Angie

The sure sign of my character sinking into depravity would be her fulfilling her lifelong desire to grow a cock, and run around molesting anyone she could get ahold of-men and women alike. She could potientially end up as a "psedo test subject"-she doesn't really do research, and instead assist the other white coats, but be treated much better then the other test subjects.

Nanites can more then likely do it.

And there are so many warm things of the male or female persuasion she can molest, whether they like it or not. I think you might be right, as a researcher it would give her certain benefits that the test subjects do not have and could, as you pointed out, help the others with certain things.

Interested!  Scientist here and I'm down with the drugs and genetic experiments although her reasoning behind all of it has yet to be determined.
I am a fire; you're gasoline.  Come pour yourself all over me.
Open for play, if you like what you see.

WindVoyager

Think or revamping an old as dirt NPC, Dr. Richard Vannacutt just so my character, if I bring him in, will have some one to really lay into him.

The Lab is more of a gathering of various heads and specialist rather then just one or two types. There will be those who specialize in certain things and other who specialize in other things and the whole Lab is being funded by a faceless corporation that has covered its tracks very well. Think of it as several different branches and offices and the Corporation funds their research but to what means no one knows and no one bothers to ask.

Something that popped up in my mind, a few of the NPCs can get inebriated, not flat out drunk, just inebriated to corner two of the 'experiments and torment them. Maybe play "Let See What Can Fit Up Where with objects beocuse its just more degrading to have random objects put where the sun don't shine

I'm intrigued. Will look at this more closely tonight.

Feel free to throw any idea for it out here. So far all I have is a jumble of ideas going that can use some straightening up.

I'm thinking of making the Lab much smaller, make it easier to hide instead of making it some massive highly complex facility and hide into some ordinarily looking nondescript building that looks like some sort of storage place on the surface but extends a story or two underground secure facility.

Maybe even have it divided up into a few different departments, like Genetic Research, Cybernetics, and the like that way we can just tag what department the characters are in so it doenst get confusing

Some of the Men\Woman in White Coats can even be funding their own research would give them a lot of freedom to do what they wanted or they could be funded under the table by some big medical company

Angie

I got it! The faceless corporation is trying to build the perfect humanoid. By creating these perfect examples of absolutely everything, they will monopolize the market on everything from military contracts to personal sex slaves. Because of this, the corp is willing to do anything to keep everything quiet-including encouraging the degredation of the scientists, trying to create a situation of Mutually Assured Destruction. However, the corp isn't your usual asshole backstabbing slimeballs-they are willing to use friendly tactics to insure compliance. Money talks, and they got enough to drown out a nuclear explosion at ground zero.

I'm interested to see where this goes.  Currently my muse is thinking about a male scientist.  Researching the physical and psychological effects of pain and endurance.  Or in other words, torture, situational bondage, duration play, etc.  And muse is saying if Angiejuusan does get that goal that I need to....introduce a new variable, to my research :p

It seems to me, even if the lab is much smaller as is indicated WindVoyager's last post, would need some staff; a guard or two, technicians, maintenance, ect. Maybe one man, with several clones, all controlled by the original viva cybernetic implants? Perhaps someone to help getting victims onto tables or back into cages?

In all my years I have never seen that, its almost always been Do What We Say or Else type of scenarios. But I love your idea. And as they say, Money is the Rot of All Evil. Some part of me can see them taking certain dog breeds, well known for certain traits like willingness to please, and turning them into things like sex slaves and light labor and house hold pets for the elite and rich who have everything.

Not to mention all the potential military applications of cybernetics reverse engineered from an alien source and applied to these anthro and even humans but they may have an issue with rejection since the tech doenst always agree with its host and causes the hosts organic flesh around the implant to rot (horribly and painfully so) or simply eases to function.

Degradation can be fun. After all, these creatures are all property of the Lab now, even if they are sapient, and according to the Lab and the Corp, they have no rights.

Can always use staff, after all the scientist won't want to risk life and limb to get their experiments out of a cage or back into its cage or on to a table. Clones are expendable. Guards can always have a little fun at the experiments expense after hours.

Angie

I suggested this idea simply because I didn't want another Do What We Say scenario. After all, why waste resources eliminating someone when you can have extremely happy, extremely productive employees? It always seemed a waste to me to off your superstar scientist, or threaten his daughter or something. Why do that when you can hand them some cash and all the poozle they could fuck in exchange for compliance?

I have to agree. I've done and been in the DO What We Say scenario so much its pretty boring after a while. It does come off as a massive waste of resources and research once I think about it.  Why kill off the ones who may be the only one who can not only d what you want, but deliver results as well?

If they want to screw the experiments, let them. Happy researchers are productive researchers.

Caehlim

We seem to have a few scientists and staff, so I might put my interest down on playing a male captive.

Probably just a human. I'll think about it some more.

I think we can use a mix, a few humans, a few anthros, a few other. I can run NPCS if needed.

ting ting

I've never done a group rp before, but this has caught my attention.  I'd like to play one of the captives, preferably human.  I'm up for almost anything, accept my offs.  That's an absolute no no for me.

WindVoyager

I think I can say with certainty that there will be no vore, scat or water sports. Mutilation is something that is a player preference, if you don't want your character mutilated then that's all right, your character won't be mutilated.

Quoteok.  Just to make sure

No one is going to force anything on your character if you dont want it. Might be best if we hammer out what we dont want to happen to our characters and what we are okay with and what we wouldn't mind having happen to them

ting ting

If I find something I don't like, I tell the person then add it to my o's.  I haven't come acrossed something that I haven't like in quite a while.  So we're good.

Kdyami

Are we going to have an official character sheet or shall I just work something up?
