I was just wondering if this was because their account was inactive or because I have been blocked.

I hope it's not the latter as I do try not to infringe upon anyone, or upset them and invade their space, as it were.

The former, or if they're in a disciplinary group (banned/castrated/etc).

If someone blocks you it says so.
