1. Spanish Rose

Pairing: Count/Wife (Arranged Marriage), M/F Only.  Possible bondage, sadism.

It's 1813; Napoleon I of France has just been chased out of Spain by Spanish and Portuguese guerrillas in the battle of Vitoria.  At the end of it all, a legend has sprung up about a soldier who single-handedly killed over five-hundred French soldiers, some say, with his bare hands.  They were even able to name the soldier, a man no one had heard of, but who had been involved in the war since it had begun in 1808, a blacksmith who was so respected that he had been given the honorary title of Conde.  With folklore circulating around him, the Conde became one of the most feared men in Versailles, as well as being one of the most elligible bachelors; families around Spain began to offer their daughters, and eventually one was selected by the Conde's servant.  So, having not even met her future husband yet, she moves into the home and when they finally do meet, she finds him cold, distant, and vicious.

What's Going On:
Your character is a young woman from a formerly wealthy family, who has recently suffered a loss to their fortune.  Your character is being forced into an arranged marriage for her family's benefit; she'll be living in an enormous home, and the only company is the aging male servant while her husband dissappears for long periods of time.  He's feared by most of the city, he's physically imposing, he's cold and he seems entirely disinterested in her in the beginning.  As the story progresses, she may learn to break through his shell and she slowly begins to learn all of his dark secrets, some of which she may wish she hadn't found out - because, as it turns out, men around the city are being found brutally murdered.  I will be playing the Conde, the servant, and several characters around the city.

2. Expiry Date

Pairing: Dead Person/Death, M/M, M/F, supernatural, death (sort of), violence, general weirdness, dark humour, body swap

You've died - but you weren't supposed to.  Doesn't that suck?

What's Going On:
You're playing a man or woman, someone with a dull and average life, and you just got murdered; you don't really remember how it happened, all you can remember is a shadow.  Much to your surprise, there seems to be existence after dying, because you find yourself watching your own funeral - and that's when Death shows up.  He's big and stereotypically skeletal, and he seems to be confused - you weren't supposed to die yet, and unfortunately your body has been cremated - this is something of a problem.  Unused to this sort of thing, Death does you a favor - he loans you a body.  A young woman/man, an actress/actor known for being an air head, has just died of a drug overdose, and your soul gets crammed into his/her body.  Not only do you now have to deal with this new life and all of the crazed fans, you've also got to solve your own murder with Death hanging around you.

3. Suburban Hell

Pairing: Retired Superhero/Retired Neighbour Supervillain; M/M or M/F, ridiculous slapstick humour, spoof, violence, superpowers, alcohol, sadism, possible bondage, rough sex

He's the good ol' boy, the goody-two-shoes, strong-jawed, all-american gorgeous hero and he believes in love, justice, and righting wrongs - he's the superhero.  He's strong, he's fast, he can fly and bend metal - he's perfect.  You can't help but want to destroy him, in fact, as a Supervillain, it's your job isn't it?  So you do all the things you're supposed to do; you use your powers to rob banks, destroy buildings, and eventually, to destroy everything the hero holds sacred.  You constantly fight eachother, but always come short of killing eachother, because despite how much you hate eachother, where would you be without eachother?  But eventually, the citizens lose their patience and begin to protest - eventually all heroes and villains are boycotted, and they dissappear into anonymity.  For years they attempt to live normal lives, but the villain becomes bored and he finds his nemesis once again, living in the suburbs.

What's Going On:
This is meant to be a dark, sort of retarded RP; these are two middle-aged retired super beings who have been forced to live 'normal' lives and adopt alternate personas to avoid people knocking their doors down in rage.  Neither of them have really moved on; the villain has become so desperate that he goes in search of his beloved former nemesis, locates him, and moves in next door - only it turns out that the hero has changed significantly.  He's now a raging alcoholic, a cynic, a pessimist, and a jerk - it starts out as small arguments between the two as the hero immediately recognizes his neighbour.  Eventually it would turn into ridiculous situations as they use their powers to torment eachother; garden shear sword fights, lawnmower jousting, throwing things at eachother from their balconies, sooner or later they would end up scrapping with eachother in their homes, destroying things because of their abilities.  I'm looking to play the alcoholic hero, I need a villain.

4. Ocean Crescent

Pairing: Suburban Dweller/Weird New Neighbour; M/M or M/F, violence, paranormal, rough sex, transformation, BDSM, possible non-con

You've lived on Ocean Crescent most of your life; it's a neat little suburban area with perfect homes and gardens, but your neighbours are all nosy, and the enormous mansion at the end of the street has been empty of life since you can remember - but one day, a light comes on in the home, and all your neighbours gossip amongst themselves - someone must have moved in overnight, not wanting to be seen.  The next morning when you get up, the street is littered with the corpses of dead animals; squirrels, rabbits, and even a few cats - you attribute it to a wild dog native to the area, and you go to the house down the street, and leave a plate of cookies on the doorstep as a welcoming gift.  Regardless, there is no apparent movement from inside, and you retire at night without any sort of response, and again, when you get up the next day, there is another surprise - an enormous dead stag has been left on your doorstep like a gift.

What's Going On:
Your character is bored with his/her life, they've been stuck in suburbia forever with idiot neighbours who try to nose their way into every aspect of everyone else's life, and you want nothing to do with them.  When you finally meet the neighbour down the street later in the week, you find him bizarre and sickly, a thin man with a wild imagination and a house filled with paintings and sculptures that he's made - and for reasons you can't figure out, he's intensely attractive to you.  As the RP goes on, your character will discover that there's more to him, a reason behind his sickness, and that one of the sculptures he's making is of you.

5. Imperfect Mark

Pairing: Con Artist/Target; M/M or M/F, violence, betrayal, theft, BDSM, blackmail

You're sexy, you're talented, and most importantly, you're a great actor, and you've been using it to your advantage for years; you find a man with money, you charm your way into his life, and once you've got him sufficiently wrapped around your finger, you take his money, you ditch your fake I.Ds, you change your look, and you dissappear.  You've done it to dozens of men, and the job just gets easier and easier - and one day, you find the perfect mark.  He's handsome, he's young, he's intelligent, he's single, and most importantly he's filthy rich - a multi-billionaire who runs a jewellery business; you meet him at an art show.  You work your way into his life, you become his regular date, going to social events together, he takes you to exotic places, he gives you everything you could dream of and then, one day, when you're sure you've got the opportunity and the code, you try to break into his safe - you make it past the first door and into the cellar, and discover there's multiple vaults under the enormous mansion.  You discover that all the codes you have are false, and when you turn around, he's standing there watching you, but he doesn't look upset.

What's Going On:
You can play a male or female character; you've been a con-artist for a long time, you're used to things going your way and you're sure this guy is just like the others - he'll fall for you, you'll get the money, and you'll dissappear.  But as it turns out, this particular man isn't the usual mark - he knows what you've been doing, in fact, he knows about every fake I.D you've ever had, he knows about every heart you've broken, and it turns out that he knew from the beginning.  He smiles at you, and he casually shows you what's in one of the vaults, and it frightens you, because it turns out his jewellery business is a cover for all of his illicit business, and now that he's got all this information on you, he's got the upper hand - and he's not going to let you go.

6. Clinch

Pairing: Fighter/Gangster, M/M ONLY, bondage, sadism, coercion, contractual bondage, drugs, alcohol, violence, mild torture, humiliation, dark humour

You're in debt because of your penchant for gambling, and you've had the debt for a long time - so you found a way to pay it off; fighting.  You discovered that you have a talent when it comes to fighting, it isn't so much your ability to hit someone, but your ability to take a hit - you can last through fights that most men should die during.  You're the underdog in illegal underground fighting, and you seem to be coming out on top - until one night, during the fight, you start to feel woozy, and one hit takes you to the ground - you can't seem to get up.  You've been drugged.  Just as your opponent - a massive man with gold teeth - is about to finish you off with a few good kicks, there's the sound of cops - everyone makes a run for it, leaving you on the floor.

What's Going On:
You're fighting because you have no other way to earn the money fast enough, and these illegal fights pay off big when you win, but you've managed to anger a few betting men in the process, and as a result your water gets drugged in an attempt to force you to lose.  You pass out in the ring and wake up in the home of a man you've never met before, but it seems he's been watching you for a while.  He smiles, he's charming, and tells you that he can pay off all your debts and keep you safe from the gangsters you owe to, if you just sign a contract; you do, and he becomes your trainer.  You later discover that your opponent - the one from the night you were drugged - has dissappeared, and his coach left the city in a hurry, but not before personally showing up at your door to apologize.  One day, you go into your trainer's office and make a disturbing discovery - there's a small pile of gold teeth on his desk, like a trophy.  And that contract you signed?  It's permanent, he practically owns you.

7. Gifted

Pairing: Mutant/Mutant; M/M Only, supernatural, violence, BDSM, verbal abuse

Congratulations, you've just discovered that you're a mutant - you've got superpowers, and you just accidentally displayed them in public, and to make matters worse, men in suits are after you now.  You feel like you're stuck in the Matrix; you run, but there's too many of them, and at the last minute some weird guys pull you into their car and drive you off to a hideout - and you can't leave.  Now you're unwillingly a member of a team of supernatural beings, and you've been paired off with a more experienced agent - except he's a huge jerk, and his powers frighten you.  Life is going to be very different.

What's Going On:
You've got superpowers, whether it's fire, ice, water, wind, electricity or super strength - all you know is that you need to learn to control it, and you're being surrounded by a lot of strange people, including a friendly zombie, an amazon, and cthulu with an M.D.  Your partner is an asshole, in fact, he's the biggest jerk you've ever met, and he's unapologetic about it, not to mention his temper is uncontrollable, his tongue is sharp, and his power turns him into a disturbing best - you have to deal with his verbal abuse, learn to become an agent, and deal with the fact that life can never return to normal.

8. Mafioso Tango

Pairing: Businessman/Mafioso, M/M only, dark humour, violence, BDSM

You work nine to five in the financial district in a job you've been doing for so long that you can do it with your eyes closed; your boss is a micro-managing prick who reaps all the rewards from the company while the employees scrape by on limited salaries.  Every day is ultimately the same as the last for you, until one day while driving home, you see a guy stranded on the side of the road with a blown tire; being the good samaritan you are, you stop to help him out.  He turns out to be an upbeat guy, though he's physically intimidating, so you have trouble refusing when he insists on taking you out for a drink.  You talk with him, you drink - maybe you have a few too many, because you end up telling him how much you hate your job and all about the crap your boss has pulled in the years you've worked for him.  You can't remember much about how you got home, but you wake up in your own bed, and begin the cycle all over again.  Except, things aren't the same anymore, because the man you helped is showing up at your house now, insisting on taking you out.

What's Going On:
You're bored, you're frustrated, and you've suddenly run into a guy with a zest for life that you can't keep up with - he's friendly, but he doesn't seem to realize what a frightening bastard he really is.  You can't seem to discourage him from wanting to spend time with you, and end up being dragged all around the city to places you never knew existed - and one night, you witness him engaging in an act of brutality, and you become aware of what this guy does for a living.  And later, when your boss dissappears, you realize what you've gotten into.  The idea is that your character is essentially being forced into an aggressive friendship with a Mafioso; this is not meant to be angst or abuse, your character will not be horribly brutalized - though he may be coerced and jerked around a lot - this is meant to be a dark comedy.

9. My Darling Monster

Pairing: Scientist/Creation, M/M, exotic

Alright, so - so you've lost your job.  They called you out of control, said you're insane, you've become a threat to nature itself after you started playing with the concept of creating life after a new, strange bacteria was found amidst coral.  You took a sample of it before you left - not a lot, just enough to play with, really, nothing terrible.  It's innocent.  You toy with it in your lab, you put it under heat lamps and subject it to different conditions, and then one day you introduce it to a sample of human tissue to witness it's effects - and when you come back, when you come back - something has begun to form.  The bacteria has begun to spread, begun to harden and it's taken over the tissue entirely.  It begins to multiply, and one day, you see a pulse under the microscope.  It takes time, in fact, it takes months, and the thing that's forming in your basement has begun to scare you - but you created it.  You are it's god, aren't you?

It doesn't seem to think so.

But it certainly likes you.

What's Going On:

You're playing a slightly cracked out scientist; he could be a nice but eccentric guy, he could be a nutty conspiracy theorist, or he could be a completely unhinged psychopath, but he's managed to create a sentient life by introducing two types of DNA, one is human, the other is - source unknown.  What forms is grotesque and beautiful, and looking at it sends horrible chills up your spine, and as it's being 'born', from the day eyes develop, you feel like it's watching you.  Once it's mobile, it's definitely watching you, and it seems fascinated.  You feel a strange power at having created this - thing - and you decide it can be a sort of, uh, pet.  But your creation doesn't feel the same way, in fact, it seems to think you belong to it, and it quickly becomes apparent to you that you're not the one in control.  This is meant to be a dark comedy, a story about two monsters getting to know eachother.

10. Perfect Stranger

Pairing: Friend/Friend, M/M or M/F, crime, violence, alcohol, BDSM

Crap.  You're in love with your best friend - you've known him since high school, he's been there for you through thick and thin, through family problems, through health issues - he even bailed you out of jail once when you got a little crazy after drinking too much.  He couldn't possibly be more perfect, but you're watching him go through yet another failing relationship with a woman who doesn't appreciate him, and when you find out she's using him for his money, you lose it a little.  You make a point of sabotaging their engagement, but you know it's all for the greater good, after all - you don't want to see him get hurt.  You decide that this time, you're going to catch him on the rebound - you watch the perfect man, your best friend, the love of your life - drink his sorrows away in some dingy bar, and you provide the neccessary comfort, but you begin to wonder why this break-up is making him so depressed.  After all, he was fine through all of the others.  You walk him home, you get him into his bed, and at some point you find yourself helping him out of his clothes, but wait -

- why does he have a gun?

What's Going On:
Your best friend is the kind of guy anyone would want to be with; intelligent, good-looking, successful - he's everything you've ever wanted in a man, but for some reason his relationships keep failing.  After a drunken night out, you find yourself discovering things about your best friend - like why he owns a gun, and why he has multiple passports in his briefcase.

And why is he suddenly frightening you?

11. Foreign Bodies

Pairing: Undead/Funeral Home Worker, M/F or M/M, Supernatural, Violence, Revenge, Crime, Dark, Dark Humour, Voodoo

Hey, it's a living.  You work for a funeral home, and while your job isn't a glamorous one, it keeps your rent paid - your job is to clean the bodies, to make them look good for the open caskets.  One day you get sent the body of a man who looks like hell - somewhere under all the dirt and blood and bruises there's a pretty face, and on closer inspection, you discover a strange mark on his neck.  It looks like a scar, something that was carved into his skin - it bothers you for reasons you can't explain, but you do your job, and you only turned away for a minute, but when you turn back -

- oh, he's not dead.

What's Going On:
You lead a boring life, a repetitive one that constantly involves death, and every day is the same until the body of a young man comes to you - but in the middle of doing your job, cleaning him up, he opens his eyes.  He's not alive, but he's definitely not dead, and it turns out he's back to finish things he didn't get done when he was breathing - and you're going to help him.  This is a tale of revenge, gunfights, necromancy, and getting your second wind.

12. The Magnificient Mr. Malcone

Pairing: Cop/Thief, M/M (preferred) or M/F, robbery, clever crimes, sexual frustration, BDSM, teasing, cat-and-mouse, dark humour, love/hate, DOM/DOM only

You're a cop who's been on the job for years, you're determined, dogged, and extremely frustrated - because while you've always managed to catch the bad guy, there's one who has eluded you for years.  He's exceedingly clever, a thief who plans the most intricate of non-violent crimes, robbing massive facilities, museums, warehouses, banks - one never knows where he'll show up next, but people have only ever managed to catch a glimpse of him, a sleek figure dissappearing.  Case after case involving this same thief has tortured you for years, and in several of the cases, one man has been brought forth as a suspect, and while you know it's him, you never have the evidence to hold him, and he's taunted you for it.

What's Going On:
You're a cop who's frustrated by genius thief Malcone, one who has been influencing your life for years, and you think you're starting to lose your mind because of him - you've started staking out near his house, watching him, and you think you're getting to him, up until the point you realize - he's been watching you as well.  He starts making a point of letting you know that he knows things about you and your life, but he never threatens you, in fact, he seems to be having fun teasing you - he's interested in you.  And, as much as you deny it to yourself, you find yourself drawn by his charm, his personality - you simultaneously hate and crave him, and one day you go out for a drink, trying to take your mind off of it, and he shows up, even sits at the table with you.  This RP is meant to involve two characters who have a love/hate relationship - their lifestyles cause the hate, their chemistry causes the fascination, and they eventually engage in an aggressive, vigorous relationship.  I'd like to see these two characters bothering eachother, getting into eachother's lives, taking advantage of eachother and being profoundly, irresistably attracted to eachother.

Wow Seven!  That's quite a variety!  There's a few there that I think I'd find interesting:
Hacker/Living Virus
Cop (hacker, serial killer)
Deamon Djinn / Misinformed summoner
Dreamer/Nightmare Creature
Creator/Insane Creation

If you're still looking for writing partner( s ), please drop me a PM and let's talk about some of these...

...Once you have eliminated all of the 'possibles', whatever is left, no matter how improbable, MUST be the solution.

Bodyguard/Employer (fantasy/feudal Japan?)
Demon-Djinn/Misinformed Summoner
Robber/Ex-Special Ops. Marine

Are some that look interesting depending on the plot/setting. Give me a pm with a few suggestions. Usually i prefer a slight exotic, (pseudo)historical or a fantasy/scifi edge but i'm more than willing to put things in a modern setting.

Is there someone specific you'd like me to play?  Would your character be a doctor or a patient or someone outside of the hospital altogether?

House is certainly one of my favourite characters to play; sure.  How do you see this happening?  Maybe House is being forced to make up for missed clinic hours, he keeps having to talk to her in order to fill prescriptions for the patients (or himself)?

I wouldn't mind doing an rp.

I rather like that idea, perhaps it could start out for the patients and then it turns into more for himself. So he can keep talking to her.

I like the sound of Betting Man/Casino Owner. Would you be willing to do this one F/F?

I was actually hoping for an M/M for that one, as the character I have for the plot is a male.

Still in need of a few RPs right now; could use at least two more.  Added a few new topics to the Fan-Based area.

I think a detective/serial killer story might be interesting.  Do you have any specific ideas?  Let me know ;-)
