*Cuddles* Your posts are super-awesome!
I get excited every time you post.
Thank you for understanding.
I haven't been that cold in a long time!
Thank goodness the pipes didn't freeze!
Hmmm... I think Aurina is somewhere around level 4-5. I don't know if she is particularly stealthy (she's very honest and upfront, even in combat), but she can kick some serious evil behind, more than she should be able to. If an innocent or someone she cares about is threatened, she goes into a battle-frenzy completely unlike her usual kind, gentle self. She can frighten a dwarf barbarian in that state. She isn't invulnerable obviously, but she'll fight until the danger has passed or she simply can't anymore.
Oh! I thought of a little mini idea for our traveling heroes!
We don't need to put it in right away, but I thought it would be a good lesson in dangerous forest flora.
I imagine the two of them either setting up camp or traveling more leisurely, and Aurina begins to study the different plants she sees, trying to identify each one. Somehow she and Bael get separated (she wanders off, he goes to collect firewood, etc.) and she comes across a large vine growing thickly around a tree. It has hand-shaped leaves and ripe, juicy-looking berries. Fascinated by this new specimen, Aurina comes closer, noticing the profusion of animal bones around the base of the tree only just before the vine strikes. You guessed it: Assassin Vine! It lifts her right off the ground and begins to strangle her, but Bael (perhaps alerted by her half-strangled cry) arrives in the nick of time and saves the day!
Let me know what you think!
