A Romance/NC Idea I've Been Wanting To Do For Awhile [F looking for M partner]

So I've had different variations on this, but I've never had a long term partner for this.

I'm open for any ideas to change this or make is more specific.

Essentially I want the story to lead up to a situation where my character is in a NC situation with her lover looking on. Eventually her lover saves her, but it might be awhile until he is able to save her. Perhaps it is several days or weeks until she is saved. Maybe she goes through these horrors that her captors (human or monster) inflict on her during the night and she is put into a cell to recover with her lover.
