(Fun! My old boss was great, he's one of those old timey vets who still go by a lot of the older methods that work. He let me do so much while I worked for him.. i.e. pulling calves by myself, sewing up cows with bloats, raise litters of unwanted puppies, kittens, opossums, squirrels, etc.. Let me even administer IV meds, and draw blood.. Even offered to pay for my schooling should I want to become a vet. I wish I had taken him up on that. -smiles- I learned so much. My first c-section was actually a spay, the bitch had gone into labor, and a puppy had gotten stuck and died in the birth canal.. The owners didn't want the other puppies and asked that we put them to sleep... so he convinced them to let me have them. ;D I raised them, and found 'em good homes. Best experience of my life. Also. Longest rendition, ever. Sorry.  :-[)

((What are you apologizing for? Oo It's a wonderful story...minus the dying puppy and the owners. I can't stand people like them. One of the few things that make my blood boil.))
