A co-worker asking another co-worker the same question, over and over and over... because she's just not grasping the answer. And if past performance is anything to go by, she never will.
Yeah, that's been much like my last four days, training the computer illiterate newb at work. I cannot tell you how many times I've explained HIGHLIGHTING, COPYING, and PASTING to him. But he just doesn't get it. It's so painful watching him hit Ctrl+C+SHIFT+spin the mouse wheel to try to highlight the text, start flailing with the mouse, then maybe highlight something by accident while flailing, then hitting CTRL+V while still on the text he's trying to highlight, have to tell the program to ignore his idiotic flailings, go from the spreadsheet to hotmail, Ctrl+V again, in the wrong place, pasting some random thing in the subject field instead of pasting the whole text into the body window. Oh, and hitting Ctrl+Spinning the mousewheel is a great way to increase or decrease the magnification of the window in many programs, but it totally fails to highlight a damn thing. *sigh*
