A friend of mine is competing in the Women's 8 rowing finale tomorrow. Dutch team obviously - rivals are US, Romania, Canada, UK and Australia.

If it doesn't clash with your patriotic sensibilities, please send some positive thoughts...   :D

My son is determined to take up gymnastics after he watched the men's all-around yesterday. ;D

Me, I'm looking forward to the women's, later today. Even without Catalina Ponor or Jordyn Wieber, it's going to be exciting. (Go Sandra!)

Oh heck-aye.

Swimming was certainly interesting this morning, Adlington completely smashed the competition, by about a full body-length.

Tonights Medley should be worth looking at too, Phelps should be able to pull his finger out and win it. Chad le Clos was clearly saving himself last night for tonight, looking forwards to it all.

I hope it does not turn out the way it did for Ms. Phelps, mother of the swim star Phelps who lost by 0.1s.

She was a bit surprised, to say the least.
