*Hugs Mistress Amazon*
So, first off...
Looks like four ladies and two guys right now.
Important point: If you are looking for an even M/F balance it's important to remember that some of us gals are into gals too. While there are guys out there who are into guys, they tend to be less attracted to mixed gender RPs. I've seen a few girls who will happily play a gay guy, but they are outnumbered by guys who want to play gay girls.
Anyway, my point is, that unless you have a pair of gay guys for every pair of gay girls, you don't want an even m/f mix!
It's hard to imagine people wouldn't think to respect or at least check a person's preferences before trying to jump into something NC and beyond. Suddenly makes me cautious of a game in EX I was considering...
Yeah you might be surprised.
Some people take that as a license to do whatever they want.
I'm speaking from personal experience. The theory goes that, if you sign up for a N/C roleplay, you automatically give consent to anything. Now, there are circumstances in which I would happily say "anything goes", in terms of
what is done to my character, but I invariably set limits on
who does it.
Alternatively, if there is no limit on who can interact with my character, then I set limits on what they can do.
If the GM disallows that, I won't join the RP.
Styx, I have no issue with where you put the RP, but if you put it in light, it means I will have to work harder with Shulamie. *wink*
Going to work on a second character.
ProfilePhoto: Name: Maxine Franklin (Nee Zulweiger)
Age: 27
Alliance: None - Customer
Job: Rich widow
Gender: F
Preferences: Likes girls who are willing to do as she tells them. May also go for a boy if he is a total sub!
Backstory: Maxine was born in the Jewish quarter of the city to first generation Polish immigrants Heidie and Moshe Zulweiger. At seventeen she married Abram Franklin, the son of Zebedee Fransch. Fransch was a not very famous inventor, and sadly died in poverty at a young age, but his son Abram saw the infinite potential of one of his father's inventions, patented it, marketed it skilfully, and the Franklin Belt was soon in use in workshops up and down the country.
Franklin grew quite rich on his father's invention, but sadly he was not the most skillful when it came to people management. Three years ago he was murdered. The man responsible, one Linus Crabb, claimed repeatedly that he was innocent, but overwhelming evidence pointed to his guilt and so he was executed for the murder.
However, the police overlooked certain key facts in the case, which, had they not been paid not to investigate them, would have led to a quite different conclusion.
Maxine had never liked her husband. She had married him at her mother's behest, because he was "A nice Jewish boy with prospects". She had resisted all his attempts to get her pregnant, and had in fact conducted a number of steamy affairs with several of the women who worked for him, behind his back.
After his death, Maxine passed the day-to-day running of the company to Franklin's assistant manager, and lived the life of a flapper. She circulates between various speakeasys, socialising, spending money on a lavish lifestye. She has travelled abroad extensively and is considerably disturbed by the growing National Socialist movement in Germany, and the apparent indifference shown by Britain, France and the USA, but she does not let it disrupt her lifestyle.
