A Quiet ObsessionAmerica

A good secretary was important in the machinations of a business firm. She kept the day organized, and was trusted with details of her boss' job let alone his personal life.
A good secretary was necessary. A good secretary was a tool for success.
Good secretaries, however, were a dime a dozen. Secretarial diplomas were easy to obtain.
In a world where men are competing to stay in the favour of their employers, are vying for executive positions, where there is ruthlessness and cut-throat personalities in coworkers, it is critical for a man to have a secretary that is dependable and essential. She had to be an extension of him.
After years of having young women come and go, the new secretary that sat at the desk directly outside his office door was slightly older. He guessed her to be in her mid-twenties, maybe even late twenties. She was not pretty, but strikingly attractive, alluring, and unlike the young ladies who previously held the position of his secretary, she did not seem intimidated by the other secretaries in the office pool...or by the other men who worked in the firm.
She would make herself invaluable to him.
They would end up in a torrid affair.
She would do everything possible to see to his success and those other competitors, those who craved his job, those who wanted the promotion he sought. One by one, they would be terminated, replaced, or simple disappear. She would make certain of it.Notes:
Looking for a partner to preferably write the perspective of the male character. Wanting to examine and explore a relationship based on lust and desire, need; private lives vs. public lives; keeping secrets.
