"I guessed you'd figure out who I was working for pretty quickly," said the man who jumped down from the carriage. He was an incredibly tall caucasian man, a device that looked like a vastly more advanced version of their own device on one wrist, a light flashing on its right side. "I'm not your father Hannah," he said with a sigh. "We are related though. I have to ask you two why you're here though, like I said the Agency wasn't meant to have agents here other than me. If you're here something has gone wrong."
"It has," Jake replied. "We're in the midst of an Omega-level time fracture, if you're here that means you must be shielded from it somehow."
"I am," he replied, pointing to the device on his wrist. "The agency fits failsafes into these as standard, but the object I'm escorting offers me protection even the device can't."
