The world has been shattered by famines and disease, anarchy and chaos have reigned and have brought ruin to much of civilization. Nature has reclaimed much of what was ruined, humanity starts anew from the wreckage.

Characters: All Human

Some relics of the past have survived the chaos and anarchy, but most 'modern' technology was lost. Humanity is in a much technologically devoid time frame.

Most farming technology is still present, with refineries still known. Most technological loss refers to business, society and warfare.

Swords and shields are the primary form of defense and offense.

Most people live in one of two areas, in Europe or North America.

Governmental system is of succession, monarchy style, women are leaders, they make most of the decisions. Very few men hold positions of power. Each ruler has her chosen champion that protects namely her interests. The champion is most often the leader's consort and is well recognized as her most formidable warrior.

The United Nations still exists in some form as, the 12 leaders meet annually in the largest kingdom in Central Europe.

Central Kingdom - Germany, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, Switzerland
Eastern Kingdom - Eastern Europe & Greece

Africa 

Northern Kingdom - North Africa, Mauritania -> Egypt & Sudan (discretion, on this if the monarch is female or male for this one)
Southern Kingdom - South Africa, Zimbabwe (regions in the south basically)

Asia

Northern Kingdom - South-East Russia, Northern China, Mongolia
Central Kingdom - China, Japan, Korea
Southern Kingdom - South East Asia
