Fields of Gold: The Death of the Witch-King~ Intrest Check
« on: April 08, 2012, 01:45:55 PM »
Story: The Witch-King Zang-Yi has terrorized the Kingdom of Kirkwell for years now. What started as simple fight between the armies has grown to desperation as Zang-Yi has steadily grown in power while his Taint spreads and blackens the once golden fields of the kingdom. During the the day monsters guard the way to his Onyx Castle and the night brings even more danger as the dead rise themselves to battle on the Nagoya's behalf.

What has been the biggest thing that has given Kirkwells pause however are the powerhouses that Sang's calls his 4 Generals....

First there is the Demonlord Bod om... While his magical abilities themselves are powerfull he has ignored them to hone himself into one of the greatest swordsmen the demons have known. His sense of honor holds him back in the Whackings eyes as Bod om will call out men he deems worthy to duel. If he only would become more ruthless he might move up....

Second is the Vampiress Lilith... Like her weight her age is also unknown, but most believe she is over 200. Lilith is the most closest looking to human as a Vampire can be and she prefers to charm men and women alike to fight for her. The path to Lilith will be paved in the bodies of her underlings and the Gargoyles that guard the crypts.

To get to the third one must pass through the caverns of the Drow. Unlike the others the Drow are just in it to have fun and possibly get a footstep in the outside world. The Drow leader is the Priestess Maydrafryn and she boasts the favor of Lolth herself...Though the fact that she hasn't been taken after making that boast, might prove is truth or maybe Lolth is just curious?

Just before entering the Onyx Castle one comes to the Cavern of the third General. A great Blue Dragon known as Alessandra... That's not her true name of course, but she likes it just the same. She is a proud creature that shares the commandership of the Castle Draconians with the Fourth General. Truthfully none have actually made it to her so she has grown bored with her role. She has a tendency to venture out and find whats new in the world so the chances of her making an appearance could be iffy.

Now the Fourth general has never actually made an appearance so none have seen him. Rumor has it that he is actually Zang-Yi's apprentice and it is assumed that he will guard the way into the grand throne room. He leaves the castle defence up to the Draconians and further rumors have it that the Draconians only fight on his behalf and don't care for the Witch-King.

In the end you have Zang-Yi himself. He is a magical powerhouse with little sword-manship so if he must resort to it he just uses a battleaxe in battle.

Chars: Fantasy races are acceptable... To live in Kirkwell in these times one must learn to survive so if you are not a child, one knows to fight....

Thinking of doing a Human Duelist type of character, with a bit of Inigo Montoya thrown into the back story, as his father was called out by Bod om and killed, so he figures that it is his duty to avenge his father and defeat Bod om.
