If you want it for him, just let me know, and I'll mark it off as taken.

Yeah mark it off.

I'll write some back story options for why it falls to hi.

Almost done with the Hive stuff as well.

Great. Marked off.

So we've got a sniper, and a desert survivalist.

We still need a couple more characters before we can start, I think. Among those, a tech specialist would be useful. Fun hacker types, or robotics engineers, always good.

Maybe someone a little more palatable in contrast with our current personalities! -laughs-

Maybe a pair workers from the city, an engineer and a computer technician, who already know eachother?

Might be worth advertising the needed posts in the opening of the thread.

Once again, sorry for spelling, spellcheck won't work.

I put up the need for a tech character. I'll add to the needed roles if anything else seems important.

I'm still thinking about it...  It's very intriguing, but I want to make sure I have the time for it, what with college, work, and other games.  You'll have an answer before the night is old.

So I was thinking I could play a civilian who gets recruited for her unique abilities..

Name: Alicia Jenkins

Position: Test pilot

Race: Human

Age: 19

Appearance:
Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide

Bio: Alicia has always been a wiz kid, a girl that's very intelligent and good with machines and computers. From an early age she started slicing through computer systems, repairing drones, building and rebuilding vehicles. As she finished school, she was employed by a firm to test new designs of vehicles, and that keeps her occupied during the day. At night however, what she likes most is slice into top secret systems, personal accounts, and corporate control systems. Not to be evil, just for fun. She checks out what other people does, remotely opens and closes doors to freak people out, and generally having a good time. She has never been outside the city and doesn't consider herself special, just good with technology. She has a friendly personality and loves to meet new people. She can be a bit flirty and enjoys showing more skin than she probably should, and trains regularly to have a fit physique, even though she only has basic hand to hand training from what her father taught her, when she was little. She doesn't know how to use any weapons except for her fists and hunting knife as self defense.

Weapons: Knife hidden in her boots

Modifications: None

Currency: Very little.

I've go my answer!  I'd love to fill the antagonist role, if you're still looking for it.  Sent you a PM with some questions.

And so I am. Also, yes, she is approved. It's a good fit for a tech focused character.

I am intrigued by this and currently considering possibly play types.   It seems as though you have a Leader, two combat PC's, a Tech PC (who might go combat).  So I may go Hacker or some sort of medical/cybernetic type.

Welcome Toggle!

-embraces in man hug with firm backslap to improve manliness of hug-

I would see the tech side in two ways, software and hardware, so currently only one of those is taken up, maybe your character could fill in the blanks as well as pick up the slack in our other lacking skills.

Hope that helps.

And once again guys, sorry spellcheck isn't working.

Oh goodie, feel free.  ;D

Sorry for the double post.

I'll put up the OOC and character thread, after I get the last team member sheet. Question Mark is talking over his with me already.

So after that, it shouldn't be long. Can't give a definite start time, but yeah, not too long now.

Was just some factions etc.

Nothing urgent.

could you start the OOC thread with the content and setting posts as you did this one? Would be good for reference.

Yeah, I can do that. I'll be starting them as soon as I get back to my proper computer. Doing new threads from my tablet is hard. Also, I'll say a tentative start-time somewhere in the next couple days at the latest, more on that as it develops.  :P

Name:  Dragus Finord

Position: Hacker

Race: Bio-engineered Human

Age: 22

Appearance:

Bio:  Dragus didn't have much of what someone would call a social life growing up, but what do you expect when you're not created the good old fashioned way?  Life in Korvis City for him began when a excavation crew was digging up Pre Sovereign era tech in the base of the tower at Broken Sword.  This previously considered completely inert Ruin held a secret in the form of a barely functioning stasis pod holding the young body of Dragus.   Files that lead up to his understanding were a complete mess, though it was stated that he was a semi-failure for their design.  In efforts to contain the madness that had claimed many with his modifications there had been a subtle flaw in the proposed bio-engineered weapon.  He was loathe to do harm to others.

Now he works in Korvis city maintaining Drones and ensuring that everything runs smooth and easy as they can on the streets.  What he keeps tabs on is hard to know considering the veritable fount of information at his finger tips.  Very pleasant, seems to greatly enjoy the company of both drones and humans.

Weapons: Dragus, dislikes being involved directly in combat, it's messy and requires a good deal of pain before it's over.   If he's required to participate, he will use non-lethal weaponry whenever possible

Modifications:
Drone connectivity Wireless adapter - Allowing for Hacking without terminals at the same speeds as most require them for.
Expanded Spectrum Light Sensor - built into the eyes during youth.  Useful for tracking signals of wayward drones as well as avoiding detection by those who might be seeking him.
Neural Adaption System - With the failures of the previous two attempts with this modification, the last chance it seemed might have been to turn to the being who had been genetically modified to be receptive to such invasive surgery.  So far?  No complications, though he's not aware of the modification at this time.

Currency:   A monthly stipend given to him to live and subsist on, Surplus tends to be given in the form of C's which he's only got about ten of in this stage of his existence.  Though he hasn't been really allowed to venture beyond the walls of Sovereign too much at this point either.
