Hey hey I know I have a normal high school rp going on right now but for those who want something different, then look no further, I need people looking to attend Yokai Academy. Now i want people to know that yes you will be able to play humans and I have set up a whole stats system. So whos interested?

Alright I know most people wont a descriptive Intro so here it is.

Welcome to Yokai Academy where monsters of all kinds and shapes come to learn how to blend in with human culture. However due to recent events Humans are allowed to attend this school. But no matter the species, we will ensure the safety and knowledge the students desire. So welcome to Yokai Academy and we hope to see you there.

This game will run by a S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats system, and will have traits and perks, seeing how combat is inevitable. I will serve as the GM and I will send out several scenarios at your characters, how they react is entirely up to you. Non-combat roles will essentially be treated as most basic characters, [meaning nothing extraordinary will happen to you, and you will have no weaknesses, but no strengths either] While combat roles that are more involved will be tried and tested under scenarios and gain bonuses and special perks. And because combat will be involved I will introduce a leveling system. Gain enough and gain a level, reach a high enough level you gain a extra perk. Mind you Leveling will be hard and I will give out EXP as I see fit. So say you took out a group of Tropical Mermaids with your bare hands, I may give you 50 EXP, and it will take 1000 EXP to level up. Im thinking the level cap will be around 20 to prevent god characters from doing whatever they want. Also there will be no skills, because we dont have time. I will make the call if whatever your attempting will succeed or fail. And on the occasion that im gone and you want to progress please be reasonable, If I come back and read and find bullshit calls I will make that player pay for it. Be it a stat reducing illness, or a loss of a perk, or even a very difficult event. Ill have all the details up later.

Okay the Special Stats goes like this

Strength
Perception
Endurance
Charisma
Intelligence
Agility
Luck

All will be at 5 unless your human, then its reduced to 3. 5 being the average. You will have 5 points to spend in any stat you want, and you are allowed to deduct, points from your other stats. essentailly you have 33 points to spend if all your stats are reduced to 1 witch is the minimum.

You chose to be combat or non combat at the very beginning, you cannot switch out. And A mage breed is still a witch despite the fact that a human is a parent.

So question is; can humans even compare to be combat able when measured vs monsters?

But I guess that's for the perks are and other bonuses which may apply.

I dont know what Yokai types are and humans can compare, they just are weaker due to them being human. But if you take the Monster Hunter perk the base stats will raise from 3 to 5. Seeing as monster hunters are capable of taking on monsters however you can only take this perk once and only humans can take it. Also it counts as your extra perk.

Ok, I take monster hunter perk. I am thinking my char's ancestor was Abraham van Helsing, a vatican trained and licensed witch/monster hunter. Overall however since change in politics in monster world the family has not hunted down monster for a one generation at least but they have kept their family traditional skills sharp.

So as part of the initiative to breach peacefully human world and monster world together they send their son into the academy who has been trained by family standards to combat monsters since age of three and taught the monster lore. Naturally he is under strict orders by both parents and school principle to avoid figthing much as he can (he can fight only in self-defense). Also he would keep his last name a secret in general introductions as it would be same as declaring he is from family of serial killers (in monsters point of view). A family which would make most monsters crap bricks out of dread (including vampires). So he has alias last name very least.

But in general it's mystery how come van Helsing family members are that powerful against monsters, as they are capable to superhuman level feats of prowess but they do not have blood of monsters in them....but then again origins of first van Helsing are clouded in mystery as well.

Hmmm, could our chars be perhaps be siblings or cousins from the same monster hunter family then? Would need work backround together if they have been associate with each other a long time.
