Read the results for Elimination Chamber and generally agree with all of your comments. While logically, I knew that there was no way Cena was going to end up going heel, it would have been nice to see him not be Super Cena and just pop up after everything that happened. At least have the decency to make him act hurt after the end of a match like that!
I was okay with the Elimination Chamber match results for both. While I was hoping they'd keep Bryan as a strong technical/submission wrestler when he got the belt, I'm actually kinda liking his gimmick at the moment. Not what I hoped for, but he's making it work, and there's something to be said for that kind of talent.
The RAW chamber wasn't as strong for me, though it was good. I liked the way they had Jericho go out, since it keeps the heat on the feud between him and Punk. Those two are great on the mic and in the ring; I'm glad WWE didn't waste their potential feud on a few spots in the Chamber.
As for the Divas match, WWE has so royally screwed themselves in regards to that whole division. They have Beth, who's a great talent and a hell of a wrestler, and then they have nobody who's a credible threat to her. Natalia is great, but not only are they cheapening her character with this stupid farting gimmick, but she's Beth's ally, so she wouldn't be challenging her even if they weren't turning her into a joke. AJ's got talent, but she's set as Bryan's girlfriend, so she's not really competing right now. Tamina's good, but they shoved her into the match against Beth with no real buildup to show her abilities, so she doesn't come off as credible. And the rest are pretty much all just models. They either need to fish or cut bait with the whole woman's division. Either find/train up some serious competitors, or just give up and make 'em all valets and managers.
Anyway, back to the game discussion, I'm happy to insert either character into any storyline. And there's always the rookie hazing kind of thing that could go on with him. Just an idle thought at the moment.
