When the term "switch" is used, that can also mean a male character 'switching' genders to a female, right?

Figuring it can also mean a Dom going to sub or sub to Dom, so wanted to check.

I believe that is usually termed as gender transformation.

Switch applies specifically, in most cases, to someone who is willing to both dominate and submit.

The most definition for switch in a sexual aspect is gravitating from Dom to sub, back and forth as your personality, moods, or sexual direction may call for.

The idea of roleplaying male and/or female characters respectively that are not your gender is called cross-roleplaying, I believe?
