Gonna be theatrically appropriate and make the gunslinger chick captain for us all:

Safe to say that we are gonna be pirates...
Ah, and here I was thinking about making a Gunslinger or a Ranger...

STR 9, DEX 15, CON 15, INT 14, WIS 14, CHA 17

Might switch Int and Cha for alchemist.... Not too sure at this point.

Wow that was fast... o.o

So are you playing two characters now Nicci, or switching to the gunslinger instead of the warlock?  And damn, if I knew revolvers were allowed, I'd have DEFINITELY gone Gunslinger XD

Seconded

I think I'm going with a Switch-Hitter Ranger (Melee and Range), specifically going with the Sable Company Marine variant so I have a Hippogriff mount, unless I find a cooler one instead.  Definitely going to be the ship's marine, possibly the leader of them (whatever the name for that title is)

I think the GM hasn't chosen yet..

I put in two ideas.. cause I couldn't make up my mind.. a fighter and a mage. Of course seeing a lack of rogues I might have to offer to fill that role since no one else seems to be.

I think I'll be going with a Samsaran (Dragon Empire race) Alchemist who is also the ship's cook.

Female Kitsune Sorceror
Maestro Bloodline (musical power and use of voice as her arcana)
Cha 22 and well was working on a Diplomacy and Perform (singing) focus overall splashing in other areas with Leadership but depends on her role in the game.

Well some of us have all sorts of things going on. :-P
I gave the GM two choices but I noticed we got no skill monkeys to speak of. :D

If we have too many casters, I could switch over to a skill monkey.....  I have a distaste for prepared casters anyway.

I thought ruby's char was going to be the captain, I also thought Nicci already had a char, Also when was it decided we were going to be evil or pirates? I'm kinda confused over what's going on.

Also I'm making a skill monkey (swashbuckler) it will be up later tonight.

I can solve this if we are going with some sort of traveling entertainment ship I can handle the business end and the gunslinger can run the ship at the operational end, that way we both get things to do. Come on where there is an army, navy or such in campaign there will be work not to mention sidelines such as trade in exotic goods we could do for extra money.

If its some other kind of ship then well we need to work it out.

one could be the captain and one could be the owner that is actually common practice in industries involving ships. if that is agreeable for the players of those characters and the crew players.

I like the idea of being an 'entertainment/charter vessel' better myself, but I think the GM is going to make a call on it pro/con on either idea.

My gunslinger is the only char I am playing, and she is the captain!

As for motivation, we can always go for the Firefly formula. Just with more naughty and explosions.
