NoVA "A Pathfinder Game"

Recruitment thread
In character thread
Sheets/OOC thread

I hope that has grabbed your attention. With the above picture you can probably guess what the driving hook of this game is going to be. You are a group of adventures, up to you whether or not you have met beforehand, and you get an airship. You are going to have a crew of sort organization. One of you will have to be the captain. Preferably a player who posts well and often, as they will have the burden of leading the group of misfits.

Characters are level 8, 4d6 for stats, and most of anything off the pfsrd will be accepted. There are going to be airships. Gunslingers will not be something unheard of.

I haven't thought of much of what you will be doing as I don't know if the captain wants to be a pirate, explorer, mercenary, ect.

Hmm... I prefer starting at 1 personally, but I guess it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense to have lv 1's in charge of a ship.

Certainly, I'm just saying I would prefer that position if I can. It's ultimately up to you who plays and doesn't obviously.

Do you have a certain number of players you are look to have in this?

Not really, what end up happening most of the time is I let everyone who makes a sheet in the game, and the people who turn out to be bad players end up disappearing. It normally comes out to around 3-4.

Sweet idea, bro.

Is this the standard pathfinder setting, with airships?

What section do you mean for it to be in?

And what shall I pitch you...

Interesting, but why roll stats instead of using a point-buy?

Classes not sure of depends on the die rolls I suppose.

This.

I was also considering a kitsune or a monster type race such as a suli or do you want to keep this core races?
Also can I get a yes or no on this? Could just replace the aquatic thing with avian and it would be good.

I think I'll be interested. Think I'll go with alchemist/ship cook.

If that scares you, it should.

Two Kitsune could be fun, if the GM is okay with it.

I'll offer Eijin Farseeker.  I haven't pictured him in any particular role at the moment, save for being warrior in exile.
Dice rolls generated by E's Dice bot were 17, 17, 13, 14, 15, 14.

Arranged as STR 17 (+1 at level 4), DEX 17 (+1 at level 8), CON 14, INT 14 (+2 racial bonus), CHA 15

I guess I can be the waitress of the airship.

If the waitress is caught stealing food, she's going to be getting a nice good aerial view...... Tied up hanging from the galley window.

edit: I don't know if you meant straight up 4d6 or 4d6 best 3.... So I went with 4d6.

 STR 10, DEX 15, CON 15, INT 20, WIS 11, CHA 17

edit 2: Actually, let's go with oracle..... Swap Intelligence and Charisma.

I'm considering joining up, thinking of playing a Conjuration-School Wizard.  If I take Craft Wondrous Items as a Wizard, can I make all of my appropriate magic items (saves me a bit of gold to spend on spells and other stuff), or not?

And yeah, when you say 4d6, do you mean 4d6 or 4d6 best 3?  I'm assuming just the 4d6 for a high-power game...

Edit: Or, since we have a lot of casters, perhaps something more melee, but I'll see how things go...

Edit2: My rolls for stats based on my assumption above... (dropped 2 rolls because they were a 6 and a 9, assuming that's okay to do)
Edit3: Rerolls are done by hand so... yeah...

At 2012-01-15 22:41:49, Keelan (uid: 15533) rolls: 4d6 Result: 18 = 16
At 2012-01-15 22:42:10, Keelan (uid: 15533) rolls: 4d6 Result: 19 =16
At 2012-01-15 22:43:02, Keelan (uid: 15533) rolls: 4d6 Result: 16 = 14
At 2012-01-15 22:42:54, Keelan (uid: 15533) rolls: 4d6 Result: 10 R1: 3 = 10
At 2012-01-15 22:42:29, Keelan (uid: 15533) rolls: 4d6 Result: 20 = 18
At 2012-01-15 22:42:39, Keelan (uid: 15533) rolls: 4d6 Result: 13 R1: 4 = 14

So... 10, 14, 14, 16, 16, 18... not bad
