"Don't be upset these guys have beaten you up yet. There was another prisoner there with me, before they moved me to the safehouse," he said, shivering slightly. "They were trying to get information from her and she refused. I don't know what happened to her, except that Snake turned up, spoke to the head jailor, and I never saw her again."

"I'm not complaining, but I do find it interesting that even after the helicopter incident, the first raid on the Firebrand building, and the motorcycle accident... I have yet to be banged up as badly as all of you. I guess I'm just lucky." She said, taking a very long gulp of her coffee.

"You don't want to be in my position," Tal replied. "When the doctors here checked me over they said it must be blind luck that had saved me cos the shrapnel from the bomb missed severing a major artery by a matter of centimetres."

"You truly are stubborn aren't you? You just seem like the guy who is going to out live us all by living until you're atleast 105." She laughed, the sugar already starting to take an effect on her system.

"I swear this entire organisation owes a lot to blind luck," Morrison said with a laugh. "I know at least three people who by rights should've died at least once before now. Heck, I should've about three years ago but..."

"You haven't shown her the scar have you Captain?" Tal asked, raising en eyebrow.

"Okay," he said, raising his khaki top to reveal a mostly healed scar that ran across his stomach. "I was in a car that had a disagreement with an 18-wheeler."

"Maybe we should change the orginzation's name to 'Oh my lucky stars' saying as we are all miraculously alive." Skylar then raised an eye brow playfully. "I find it better to pick fights with the driver but I guess picking fights with the vehicle is alright too." She laughed, draining the last of her coffee. Her whole body shivered, her veins filling with the sugar she loaded into the coffee.

"It looks like Tam's team are heading off," Tal said, nodding towards the window where they could see the marines, SAS and Raven Squad loading their kit into three helicopters. "Anyone but them and I'd probably be worried, but we should be fine. This is what these guys do for a living after all."

"My question to you is: Who else would be loading up into choppers but them? We all kind of do this for a living you know." Sky rolled her eyes, crossing her arms on the table and resting her head on them.

"You mean aside from Tom's team?" Tal asked, an eyebrow raised. "I don't think you guys get to use them though, you get the transport planes I'm afraid. At least you have most of the fighter jets going with you though."

"Hey, I say a party is a party. I don't care what ride you brought in." Sky shrugged, a smirk on her face. "Though then again, there are those pesky critiques waiting by the front door asing about you choice of... Oh, sorry. Rambling again."

"Don't worry," Morrison said. "I think we're all a bit nervous, whether we want to admit it or not." He saw the helicopters taking off and Tom's team preparing to head out. "Okay, I think now would be a good time to load the planes, we're gonna have to go the minute the tracker activates."

"Agreed." Sky said, raising from her seat with a stretch. "What exactly do you plan to load the planes up with anyway?" She asked, looking out in the direction in which the choppers had taken off in.

((So sorry it took me so long.))

"We need to make sure we have all the guns we need," Morrison replied. "We don't want to go in there unarmed. Plus we need to take explosions, hopefully we won't need to blast our way into anything but better to go in too prepared than not prepared enough."

((Its just a bit of stress... I dont cope well with stress so it gets kind of messy and I become the monster of the basement. Kind of pathetic if you ask me but as I said... I dont cope well with stress. :P ))

"Just point me in the right direction, Captain." Skylar said shifting her weight to the balls of her feet. She bounced a few times, much like that of a boxer preparing for a match. Every muscle was preparing itself, turning on a mission mode of sorts. "I guess you're right. Always be prepared for anything... Weird, sounds like something my mother would say." Her voice trailed off as she got distracted, her eyes looking into some distant memory before she shook her head and returned to Earth. "Let's go."

(that's fine lol, slightly sucky time for posting as I'm going to bed now. will you be around tomorrow?)

"I  have a more important job for you," Morrison said. "Someone needs to go speak to Petra, she's been in a...strange mood since we told her Rajkovic was still alive. She's the only one that knows what happened between her and him while she was undercover in his unit, she might be more willing to open up to you than she is to anyone else. If you don't mind I mean."

((I should be able to get on a little earlier in the day... though how long I can stick around is unpredictable at the moment.))

The girl hung her head, her shoulders slumping slightly. "Yeah... sure. Whatever." She winked and laughed before spinning out of the room. Not even a second later she poked her head back into the room with a confused look on her face. "Umm, where is she again?"

"Last time I saw her she was outside her dormitory smoking a cigarette," Turk replied. "Odds are she's probably still there. Don't worry, we'll give you guys a shout once we're ready to go, but I think she could do with a friend right about now." Petra was still there, watching the preparations with a look of grim determination on her face.

"Thanks." She said before skipping out again. Walking up beside Petra, the girl wrinkled her nose and coughed. "You smell gross." She sniffed, coughed and sat down. "Cap said you were looking kind of... bummed. So I came to see what was up."

"Huh?" she said as she saw Skylar approaching. "Oh, yeah. Its just....let's just say me and Rajkovic have a bit of history, and I don't just mean cos I infiltrated his unit. If I tell you what happened you have to promise you won't tell the others, especially not Turk. I'm worried what he'll do if he knows, he needs to concentrate on the mission."

"Lips are sealed. I promise." Sky said, pressing a finger to her lips with a smile. "So other than your little infiltration mission, what was going on that has you so distracted?" She looked at Petra before turning her eyes to the ceiling.

"I didn't just rat him out to the FSB because of his plan, the night before I phoned them, he..." she paused, looking round to make sure no-one else could see before lifting her top to reveal a nasty scar running across her stomach. "He raped me, and gave me that scar as a reminder of who was in charge. He had almost convinced me his cause was right but after that...I realized all he wanted was power over everyone, he didn't care who he hurt to get it either."

"Sounds like a real pig." Sky frowned, looking down at the scar. "I hate people like him. Men who do what they want just because they can. They disgust me. I'm glad you're okay though... well here I mean. So that's what has been eating away at you?"

"When I thought he was dead...when I saw what we thought was his body after the attack...I could bury it, never have to think about what he did to me again. When you guys came back and told me he was alive it brought it all back up again. Agents are told never to do something out of revenge but it feels like if I don't kill him myself I'll never be rid of the nightmares about him."

((Sorry it took me so long to respond, I was busy with a dance recital.))

Skylar shrugged as she stood to her feet. "It's not revenge if it's justified. He is a danger to everyone, and if you just so happen to be there first then by all means, kill that bastard. I most certainly wouldn't blame you. I'm just a little bummed that you have first dibs." She shrugged again and smiled.

"First dibs?" Petra asked, raising an eyebrow. "As long as this conversation never finds its way to anyone else I don't care. I think its time we get going though, I think our kits loaded already." She nodded to the centre of the runway, where soldiers and pilots were gathering, Morrison indicating to them to come over and join them.
