It seems that firefox or something on my computer is linking words in text on E with dating sites. The words like relationship  date etc are in blue and rolling the mouse over them says enhance and upon clicking you get a dating service.

Is E trying to find me a match? Is E being sponsored by a matchmaking service?
I recently updated Firefox but saw nothing on a link to a site and appears to only happen on E

How do I dispose of it? I figure it isn't an E thing cos you wouldn't do something like that without permission

Have you downloaded anything lately and this enhancement has started since then?  I've run into this with some online game sites and usually just remove that program.

I down load very little so I don't know of anything I could have loaded How do i find it and remove it?

On the Control Panel on my computer there is a feature to remove programs.  I go there and sort by date, check the items that have been added recently and see what's there.  You may have tried to start a program that actually downloaded something.

You might want to see if Firefox has a way to turn off the enhancement before removing anything, however.  I don't know how to find that out though.

I clicked on it back right clicked and it offered me an opt out I clicked on that has done nothing but i think when I reboot later it will be gone
I will try it later and let you know how it worked out

Do you think you might just have to restart the browser rather than the computer?

despickable

It appears so as restart didnt work

Elliquiy has no advertising.

Check http://www.malwarebytes.org/ if add/remove programs didn't work. There's a fuller list of such things as a sticky on top of the forum.

despickable

Thanks Vex it appears the cookie thing sticky might have cleared it the programme is called Text enhance or at least that what it said powers it words are still highlighted in text but now the advertising appears gone so it might have cleared it. Thanks for your help
