A Spread Of Poetry
« on: December 28, 2011, 07:50:39 PM »
Just a few poems I wrote up on the spot depending on my mood. They are all nameless:

The blood so red is soaks skin deep
I hold the hands of the person to sleep
I cry and shed a tear for you
Hoping that you find life a new

So I whisper the last few fluttering words
My voice lost like caged up birds
I want to say it, those three little...
But in the end it becomes spittle

"I... I... I..." I keep muttering
But your heart... it keeps fluttering.
And now your last breath has spent
I only wish... I could repent
My regret for not saying it so soon
And now you are lost, an empty cocoon

---------------------------------------------------------

My heart it speaks of an ancient vow
So many have forgotten until now
Do not seek pass yourself
It is within you, sound mind and health

I beg you, I implore you
Do not seek to do
No harm to others, nor harm to thyself
Do not bottle things and store them on a shelf

Learn to do, learn to trust
Don't let your heart waste, and go to rust
Like the sands of time, you will know
That there is an eternity, all good souls go
