Name: Lady Sofia Moreaux
Normal Occupation: The best way to describe Lady Sofia's occupation is that she's a socialite. She dabbles in political and social affairs though she doesn't an official title, but due to her past marriages, she has a certain influence among the human ruling class. She uses this influence to support pro-human groups in the city.

She usually has people over, relatives, traveling political figures and other important humans. She frequently uses her home for parties and events. She fights for the human cause the best she can. She is also quite charitable, but her charity only extends to humans. In honor of her late husband, she opened the Lord Francis Moreaux University, which is known to produce the best human knights and mages. The school only admits humans.

She's not exactly approachable, especially since she wears rich and elegant elegant dresses with adorned with many jewels. If she is acting friendly or cordial, she carries a lovely smile on her face which softens demeanor. She's of average height, though people would swear they thought she was taller. She carries herself with elegant and grace. In contrast, her ever-present guard, Karenina, lumbers around with heavy armor. Her other guard, Tobias, is never seen.
Personality: Seductive, machiavellian, manipulative and cunning, Lady Sofia acts only on her needs and the needs of her people. Charming and pleasant if she wants to be, she knows she's intimidating and uses it. Looking like a perfect noblewoman in public, she doesn't admit or try to show any weaknesses. She misses her husband greatly and his loss left a great hole in her heart. It's not that she doesn't have any suitors. Many pursue her for her social standing and money, but she sees through all that.
Background: Born into a noble family, her future was already outlined by her family. She was supposed to marry into an influential family, and she did just that. Her first marriage was to Darcy Riverwood, rich businessman and merchant. Riverwood and Sofia's father were good friends. They often talked about pooling their resources together for a risky venture, Riverwood would rule the businesses in the city and Sofia's father would rule in politics. Though Sofia was only 14 at the time and Riverwood was 42, they were married.
Sofia didn't object. She didn't fight it. She knew it would make her father happy and that's all she wanted. Within a year, Riverwood started to exert his influence on the merchants in the city and Sofia's father worked his way into the ruling class of the human quarter.
During a bright and sunny day, Riverwood invited his wife and her father to a day of hunting. Feeling ill, Sofia declined and her father, Riverwood and a few of their servants went off hunting. The events of the day were sketchy at best. Some say a group of bandits attacked the hunting party, while others say they were trained mercenaries and assassins. Almost all accounts say that the attackers were elves, dwarves and orcs. The killers were never found. The killing of her father and Riverwood made Sofia distrustful of all the other races.
Her mother died from grief shortly after, leaving Sofia alone. Because her family is so well known, she was taken in Cyrus Moreaux, an old knight and friend to her father. It was shortly after that she meets Francis, Cyrus' grandson. When she was 19 and he was 24, they married. Young, skilled and good-looking, Francis quickly became the human court's favorite, drawing ire and jealousy from the other courtiers.
Like Sofia, Francis has a staunch pro-human attitude. He wanted humans to takeover the city, saying they are the true rulers. After a rousing speech in the court, conspirators against the Francis' political ideals moved against him, stabbing murdering him in cold blood and leaving his body in front of his house.
At the mere age of 20, Sofia is already a widow of two marriages. To honor her husband's wishes, she worked her contacts to pursue his pro-human goals. Soon, she raised enough money to open a school in his name.
She hired two guards, a knight and an assassin, to follow her everywhere she went seeing as how her husband was so brutally killed.
