still I've been playing pathfinder for a while so i'm offering to answer questions about it, including the main setting Golarion.
and to answer you about which god would have a paladin, and yes they are still paladins though there is a crusader archatype...
Erastul aka old deadeye, god of farming, hunting, trade, family... think Nordic/Russian theme. while rare for him all the class requires is martial training, self decipline, the urge to do good deeds, and a pair of big brass balls, his followers have all four.
Iomedae The Inheritor: a mortal woman who preformed mericles and fought the wispering tyrant (anchent evil lich king guy) in the name of Andorian, who raised her up as a saint, when Andorian died she became patron to his followers and inherited his church, her symbol is a shining sword facing downward. colors are white and gold. she is a patron to crusaders, and is a big paladan patron.
Sarenrae The Dawn flower: the most widely worshiped deity in the known world, stemming from the desserts to the east, and exported across the world (which is why she gets the biggest entry) the godess of redemption and healing is the patron for paladins who win battles with their mind and hearts, not simply smashing monsters repeatedly with an iron fist till their heads fly off. that said when faced with irredeemable evil (cuthuluish shit, primal evils, etc) she is amazingly cold and calculating. the sun godess is merciful, loving, but push her too far... and she'll fry you like an egg on the sidewalk.
