I got a signal at startup saying my system voltage was low, so I replaced my computer's battery.

Everything seems to be working again just fine, except my sound. In device manager, all my hardware and drivers show they are enabled and working properly.

I used the update driver wizard in Windows XP to download the latest driver for my sound card (Creative XB X-fi), and still nothing.

Anyone know how to get my soundcard and speakers working again?

In your system's BIOS, there may be an option to clear your system's ESCD settings. Sometimes, they get stuck, and other peripherals are interfering. If that isn't an option, you can try removing 'unnecessary' (to boot) items (including things plugged into USB ports), along with the sound card, and try disabling things in the BIOS that you clearly don't need e.g. the system's parallel port and serial ports (from BIOS), to give it some more breathing room.
