The Missing Legion

I'm not exactly sure the setting I want for this one. It can be set either around the time that the Romans evacuate Britannia, around 410 AD, or what has really been on my mind is something set in the time of King Arthur.

The plot, basically, revolves around the soldier shown below. A member of the Ninth Legion, he is the only survivor of whatever caused the legion to disappear. Perhaps they were mortals, captured by the Sidhe in Britain's forests and whisked away to provide entertainment in the world of the fairies. Or, perhaps they strayed too far away from Hadrian's Wall, and were set upon by the savage barbarians it was built to keep away.

I'd just like someone to help shape a story from this. So, if anyone is interested, please shoot me a PM or post here.
