I like your original idea Bunny but I also agree with Wintercat on this one, so if you're unhappy I so go for it hun.  Ramael, Syene, love your characters a great deal.  They're good to go in my opinion and so go ahead and get them going in the character thread, then post in the IC I have up for us heroes as well.  I haven't come up with a good Queen yet and I doubt I can do so before I have to leave this morning, so Winter?  If you beat me to it it's all good, just let me know if there's anything I should know should you do so.

Ramael

Kir does have some support/shamanistic abilities, but they wouldn't be upto scratch of the level that another pure-support PC would have. They're largely ritual based, too, so he'd need time to prep them.

Vergil1989

Well, it's not required but it's a personal preference if everyone that has a hero start out at the castle, same as the monsters are starting out in their own area.  It's just me being anal more than anything lol.  At any rate, I'm glad to have so many awesome people for this game and I hope this goes far guys and gals.  I gotta go but I'll hopefully be back before too long.

Right, I've decided to make a full support character.  I'll probably have him up tomorrow.

Snake

#54
Name:  Sanosuke
Race: Wild Elf
Class:  Barbarian/Druid
Best Ability:  Melee combat, Shapeshifting (in dnd terms: via the druid's wild shape abilties)
Least Ability:  Spellcasting (though he can manage lower level spells alright and beast summon type)

Gender:  Male
Preference:  Prefers Female partners, is dominant; but likes other dominants
Ons: Large bust, physically fit women, Motherly types, voyurierstic bestiality
Offs: MxM, Scat, Guro, Vore, Watersports, overly sensitive types

Appearance:  Sano is tall at 6'2" with a lithe, hard-muscled body with extremely long raven-black hair with glowing red eyes, a dark tan complexion with small marks on his face under his eyes resembling wide crescent moon shapes. And is extremely well-endowed. Usually black-dragon hide armor for protection and prefers to use two-handed weapons, but is equally adept unarmed.

Background:  Not much to really say... He's an adventurer with no real aspirations to be a hero; but he does like to explore new places and fight new enemies. That's why he went on this crazy trip.  Born to a nomadic clan of wild elves to the clan's shamaness; he spent his whole childhood learning the ways of nature and getting a grasp of how things worked.  The armor he wears is actually his father's, passed down to him after the man passed away during a battle.  AFter that point; he decided to try and follow that, and tried to learn how to fight utilizing the lessons his mother always taught him and eventualyl learned how to shapeshift into various animals and picked basic knowledge of how to do battle unarmed, usually while within those forms though since the humanoid form sometimes didnt' allow for them to be used. (the fighting unarmed part comes from that: all animals are proficient with their own natural weaponry.)

He's from the deep southern jungles of the world but has been away from them for a few years now to learn new things and to find new species of animals to change into as well as make a name for himself. His father had done the same thing without the mystical aspect of it and had been known as a powerful warrior.

Vergil1989

I have just a LITTLE higher standards than Wintercat, so I ask that you add a little more to your history.  Beyond that though, I like him a great deal and I say bring him on lol.  Welcome to the game Snake.

Kassad is finished, went for the eastern swordsman feeling with him, he is a great warrior with a few charm spells, but having never had to fend for himself has no healing and trap finding skills
Prudence, justice, temperance, courage, faith, hope, love...
debate any other aspect of my faith these are the heavenly virtues. this flawed mortal is going to try to adhere to them.

Culture: the ability to carve an intricate and beautiful bowl from the skull of a fallen enemy.
Civilization: the ability to put that psycho in prision for killing people.

Snake

there isn't much to him Vergil. He's just the type to wander around and doesn't really bother to think about his past since it'sj ust that: his past.

CarnivorousBunny

Then maybe instead of a past you can give him a goal for the future: maybe he's questing to find an ancient weapon so he can become stronger.  He may not want to be a hero, but he may want to be unbeatable.

Alrighty, I'll let it go then I guess but it's more a personal preference than anything I guess lol.  I just like to know more about the people I'm RPing with so I have a better idea how to go about handling them, but I can adapt easily enough as long as the effort is there on your part.  Still, Bunny does have a point.  At any rate Snake, feel free to get him up in the character thread and then post in the IC for Heroes at your leisure.  Ironwolf, your dude is good as well buddy.  Have fun!

How'd he become a druid? Why does he have red eyes? Where did those marks on his face come from, was he born with them? How did he get that black dragon armour (I'm assuming it wasn't Ebay)? And can he really be equally adept at unarmed combat as he is with a two-handed weapon? Where is he from, even?

Vergil's right, although I think he was being too fair - you need to put more effort into the character sheet. Everyone else has, it's kinda E! standard, really.

And for clarifications sake, I'm imaging your questions are examples of what else there is to say about his character?

You dudes want to know huh? I can answer those. Mostly druidism is cultural for wild elves, they're already fairly barbaric anyway in comparison to other types.

Vergil1989

How about editing your profile a bit to add what everyone's been asking for there Snake?  I was being fair about this but I do ask that you add more.  I don't mind what just so long as it's something, alright?

That's an easy answer, but it could be better detailed. I think the thing is, people here like to see vivid characterization. It makes them feel the character more and take said character more seriously. A good, and actually fun way, to give what they are asking for is to answer the above questions in a story form. Heck, could be as much as him rambling about it to a bard. lol

Snake

If you must know: red eyes can be genetic; perhaps there' sa demon or a dragon his family tree somewhere? The marks are more..shamanistic than anythign else though; but totally cosmetic.  His characterization is something I'd rather do IC.

Black Howling

Well, I'm gonna submit two character, hopefully before work today, because I can't decide which to play. Vergil, you and Wintercat tell me which one looks better, alright?

Ironwolf85

is there any link we shoudl have to the main campain?

Works for me BH and Snake, much better.  I don't mind if you give more detail about your guy IC, I was just looking for a little more than what you were offering here.  The others are right though in what they were saying, especially Black Howling though.  At any rate, feel free to add him up into the character thread and go from there.  The intro posts don't have to match mine for size if that's holding other people up, but don't post a one or two liner either.

Ironwolf, there's two links, one for the Dungeon and one for the Castle where our heroes are starting out at.  I'll grab the hero one for you guys again if you can't find it on the previous page I believe it's on.

Here you go, the IC thread for our heroes until we start dungeon diving lol.

CarnivorousBunny

#70
Name: Jiro
Race:  Fox Spirit
Class:  Cleric
Best Ability:  Buffing and healing
Least Ability:  Melee combat

Gender:  Male
Preference:  Heterosexual, can be dominant or submissive, but he has little interest in carnal activity.
Ons:  Pretty faces and shapely curves
Offs:  Males, scat and vore.

Appearance: His most common shape is that of a young humanoid male.  Objectively, he is actually quite striking with golden-brown skin, brilliant copper hair and sly amber eyes.  In the light, Jiro looks as if he was made from the essence of autumn itself.  Tall, lean, and narrow, there is a sort of grace to his structure that only a phantom would have.  His ears resemble those of elves, and in the darkness the surface of his body looks smokey and ethereal.
He is equipped with medium armor, with a heavy and sturdy staff that acts as both a tool for magic and a bludgeoning-type weapon in case of emergencies.  While Jiro cannot attack, he is quite decent at defending himself.

There are times he shifts in to a small fox.  There is no difference in his level of power in this form, and he is swifter and more agile.  The downside to this form is, other than the obvious loss of his opposable thumbs, is what little physical strength he has is lessened.

Background:  Until recently Jiro resided in a large and highly populated forest as one of its guardian spirits.  It is one of the last virgin pools of energy on the surface world, full of neutral beings who care only for balance and peace.  This group have no ties to civilizations and the politics of the world and had no prior loyalty to the queen or any group of heroes.  They didn't need any, for the forest is entirely self sufficient and well protected by its many talented guardians.  Even during the first of the crusades, the forest managed to keep conflict away.
However, this time something is different.  The trees are whispering about a dark power festering under their roots.  Jiro is one of the handful of spirits the forest folk are sending to the crusades to neutralize any threats that.

In his party, Jiro is the cleric, and a talented one at that.  From healing to shielding spells, he can do them all with ease. Living a predominantly relaxed existence, Jiro has developed a laid-back and playful personality.  He is, however, extremely dutiful and devoted.  He volunteered to join the crusade not to destroy monsters, but to make sure that they could not destroy his home, or the balance of nature.

The council dictated to him that the nature of his quest is more inquisitive and diplomatic than destructive, but he must not tell no one or they might see him as a threat to their purposes.

Thanks :) I'm considering giving him a kitsune flame-type ability too, but I'm quite tired so I think i'll do that tomorrow, haha.

I'm also going to try to get him with the other heroes soon, but I'm tempted to give him a dramatic entrance like when they're in need of a shield or healing >D
