Mordred loved wearing his chainmail costume during the medieval re-enactment rehearsals.  He would brag that if ever an asteroid were to fall from the sky, he would definitely have a better chance of survival than the unarmored folks.  I think I would be just as safe from the asteroid if I were wearing a thin layer of horseradishXD

A Vampires dead body is the temperature of an Igloo in the Arctic. However, a cowgirl might have the personality of Styrofoam melted in the microwave. (HOT!) Together mixed with a little hay from the barn, it would appear they explode like a volcano.

If I were a pin, to space I would spin.
No worry of socks, through the void's endless box.
Dreaming of ham wrapped in fig, 'cause I love me some pig!

The cowgirl thought the constellation of stars looked like a giant squid in the darkened sky.  Was it a binary star?  She couldn't even begin to guess, so she hopped on her horse, Clyde, and headed on down to the local casino for a game of blackjack, hoping she'd have better luck there.  ;P

It was a dark lonely night as he sat on the platform waiting for the train, hoping it would come soon. It was a small station, small enought that he could have fired a slingshot from one end to the other. He opened his pocked and took out his calendar; five days on the road, one more and he would miss his daughter's birthday.

I stammered mid-sentence and fell suddenly mute, as a door creaked open in the wall of books.  Stepping through into shadow, with slinky tendrils of fog wrapping themselves around my wrists, ankles and hips, I whispered to the inky darkness, "Hello?"  The creature materialized before me, looking very much like a cheshire oppossum and replied in a sing-song voice, "Let the adventure begin..."

The dark creature with eyes of sapphire leaned down, caressing a long taloned finger down the sweet maiden's neck towards her heaving breast. "Tell me a rhyme, delicious morsel", his ravenous breath whispered into her lips as he licked slowly across, "and perhaps I shall set you free." As these words echoed through the crystal chamber, he bent farther down, feeding his lust with her intoxicating scent.

He lit a cigar, pausing in his creation to let his vaporous thoughts solidify into tangible ideas. The question was eternal, how does he get the neon blue paint out of his hair?

The old vampire hated giving any credence to the old truths that swirled around about his kind. Over time the horrors of the past dissolved, giving way to the new belief that the fanged ones were simply sensuous beings. It was vital beyond all reason that these whispers continued to fill the warm beating hearts of those that lived.

The pulsations of life that throbbed through the clogged arteries of the old town continued to choke her. No longer could she continue on disguised in this way, like she cared, like they were anything more to her then sheep under a harvest moon.

I gotta say, I am quite reluctant to just hand over these keys to the kingdom. Waking each morning to feel that power ripple through every cell and fiber always did put my greedy soul into a state of rapture. It will forever be an arduous strain on my very sanity to never again feel that old crown cutting into my brow.

The moon rocked on the horizon like a plump orange cantaloupe sliced in half. Yet the darkness seemed to wrap itself around her, muffling the click-click-click of her shoes against the boardwalk. Pausing beneath the Universal marquee, she listened as the night whispered her name.

The whispers of that floating silvery orb drifted down into the earth, awakening the need to slake her insatiable thirst. Through dirt and leaves, the ancient beauty clawed, until a gasp of breath pierced into the damp autumn air. Limbs stretched briefly as the hungry creature filled with the building percussion of a nearby pulse, that intoxicating caress of sweet red wine through it's imprisoning vein, begging to be released.

Her heart-rate slowed to match the rhythms of the oceanic tide. As she turned her face toward the sky, every constellation blinked in apathy and turned away. Fear traced its fingers along her spine and her fearful whimper was lost in a savage nocturnal orchestra of imaginary steps, pants and growls.

Her jacket was covered in a light brocade. She loved it so much she would never surrender it to just anyone. The impact it had on her was likened to treasure.

Every now and then, I get this little creeping desire to feel what roasting would be like. You see, that ball of flame up there is really quite a taunting little minx. I can hear her warm siren's song, wrapping around my senses as if I'm merely a manic little puppy just dying to be released from my cage.

She ducked from the blinding sunlight into the dusty shadows of the book shop, and made her way to the farthest shelf, seeking that singular treasure.  The tingle of anticipation left the slightest hint of chocolate flavor on the back of her tongue, and she moaned softly at the luscious feeling it gave her to be considering such an extravagant purchase.  She made her selection, paid the wizened old shop-keep, and made her way back into the daylight, eager to get home and enjoy the soporific pleasure of her new find.

Once upon a time, a silly fanged creature distilled a few drops of the very substance that made his very lifeless soul quiver with ecstatic glee. The resulting copper pill sat in his palm for hours as he sat lifeless, staring at this glistening gem. Suddenly in a blurring move, the object was consumed, making him both agile beyond his wildest dreams and insane beyond all comprehension.

The young sexy scientist began an experiment where he had to use kinetic energy to process his newly discovered creation.  Soon the experiment produced exactly what he was hoping for! A new breed of larva!  After some weeks of patient watching something began to happen. Suddenly there was a blinding light and the newly formed creation turned into his dream girl! Unfortunately she came with a set of wings and flew away.

I knew my survival in the Women's State Penitentiary would depend mostly on conforming to the rules and way of life there at the institution.  Many doubted any success in my reformation.  When some of the guards started abusing the inmates, I joined in the riot against prisoner brutality!  :D

The young elf worked tirelessly at the salon, buffing cuticles and changing polish all day, but she dreamed of the freedom of her youth.  When her lunch break came, she munched a parsley and mushroom sandwich, and imagined herself free to tramp through the forest chasing fireflies.

Despite it's stubborn will, the little wing could never pull the feathered-thing in the direction it so desperately desired. Then one day, to it's shock and horror, the feathered appendage realized the cause for it's eternal futile attempts as the thing-with-a-beak stared curiously at a photograph of itself. A parallel creature, mirrored as if attached to the thing-that-chirped, pulled in it's own direction with an identical scarlet limb.

The cynical   grimace on the face of the statue amused the ancient black bird perched on its shoulder. Feathers ruffled and dark talons clutched the gray stone toga tightly.  The truth spilled harshly from yellowed beak and fell on ears long deaf, "Any birdibrain can be a ringleader Ceasar, when it's time to riot."

There lay the intricate bracelet atop of all the other jewelry left behind by her deceased grandmother.  The ink on the note that was attached to the antique piece had nearly faded, but the sweet words brought back fond memories to a little girl of so long ago.  The box began to play, music that sounded something akin to a clarion being played, so haunting, yet simply beautiful.

Playing dead with skill honed by countless years of chiselled evolution, the feathered form released trickles of saliva, and waited. This peacock wasn't about to throw in the towel quite yet, not after years of showing the younger generations how it was done. Indeed, it seemed fate once again caressed the ornery bird's path, delivering a timely landslide, sending the stalking cat scrambling amidst an avalanche of mud and debris.
