I'm new to the site and was acquainting myself with some of the threads I have access to. I have quite a bit of roleplaying experience and would love to get involved in a substantative time-travel based play. I can see from your thread that your time may be occupied, but if you ever want to talk about potential scenes I'd love the chance to see if we have any common ground to share.
I'm personally drawn to a few eras in history. I like the idea of doing something regarding Ancient Greece, involving Gods in our world, leading the ambition of mere mortals... Or perhaps the age of Imperialism, of trade-ships and Pirates, involving a lost relic on a hidden island in the Caribbean and a swash-buckling journey... Speaking of swash-bucking I've always wanted to try something involving the Musketeers, or anything regarding regal France, or its revolution, or something during the turmoil of the Napoleonic Wars... I can also see a scene in war-torn Germany, during the mid-forties, a deserter and the reasons for desertion... Renaissance England and Italy also appeal. Anything from the age of wonder really. I had a lecturer in Uni who told me he genuinely believed aliens came down to earth, in Greek times and during the Renaissance, to lead an explosion in Art that is unexplainable any other way... I think his tongue was firmly in his cheek but he has a point. I also like the idea of Prohibition America, Chicago during the mob-wars, a dangerous time on the streets... And possibly a trip to Woodstock to top the lot.
As per your specific request of a time-traveller coming to our time, or vice-versa... It's something I think I'd really enjoy teasing out. I hope your playtime here is going well, thanks for posting :)
