Jet's Idea (need F; fantasy setting)
« on: August 21, 2011, 11:00:09 PM »
He's the perfect bodyguard, and he comes with a reputation for doing anything. With a sense of honor to rival that of the noblest knight and the reputation of a cold-blooded killer, he's a bit of a contradiction. But it is said he will protect anyone, go to battle with anyone, just for the chance to improve his already impressive abilities. He's known only for the mask he wears, red as blood and as immaterial as the shadow he walks in.

When he's hired for the protection of a wealthy woman, he's at her every beck and call, hired to literally do anything she tells him. But there's something he's not telling, some reason his price was so affordable. Her husband is a powerful man and has ruined the lives of many people. And is there a better way of keeping an eye on him than getting close to his wife? But how close will she let him get? What will she command him to do?

This is a fairly simple setting. I'm not looking for anything terribly specific here, and the names of the woman's family and her husband are to be created by the first poster. I have a storyline in mind, but I prefer to leave the exact details alone so that it can be fleshed out by the characters themselves. for instance, will this powerful woman protect her husband, giving her bodyguard seemingly impossible and lethal assignments or having guards watch him? Or will she aid him in getting close enough to her husband to drive his blade through?
