How about an eleven-way tie in the voting?  Would that be epic?  ;D

I say we do it.

Tomorrow will be exactly one week since the voting began for this round.  Please get your votes in soon!

I realize we can't have an eleven-way tie anymore, but it's still very close, and every vote counts.

Sorry for the delay -- I was without power for much of Friday, and also without internet afterwards, even once the electricity was sorted out, so I'm still playing catch-up.  *sigh*  But hopefully we can find a steadier pace now.

Night roles, please send in your choices!   :D

Only one antagonist left?!  Dammit!  If this ends too early, you must run this theme again.  I love it! :D

Well. I should start getting mt thread up... If this trend continues, this one is going to end sooner than planned. Anyone else want in? Link to the planning is in my Signature, click the shakespeare quote. Now to go find what I've already written and go post up stuffs.

And Val- Please do run this one again! This looks like it's going WAY too fast.

I don't know if that counts as epic... but it was certainly fun to write.  :)

And I think that's the shortest game ever, though at least there was a lot packed into those few rounds...

... Wtf.

H'ok. I'll finish setting up this weekend and start my game on monday. JEEZE, this was a short game. Well played.

And can I just say, i'm proud of myself this game? Beguile's was my next day vote. Meaning I was going to vote for antagonists two of the days. I didn't suspect kyrsa, but I was kinda responsible for her death :D

I was Rebecca, the first Mrs. de Winter, from Daphne du Maurier's novel "Rebecca."

She was dead, of course, by the start of the story but she made no less of an impact for that.

I don't know if I should be offended or flattered that everyone wants to kill me.  >:(

Still, it was fun being Captain Sparrow, if only for a little bit.

Valerian, I demand that you must run this theme again.

Well, I was guessed correctly.  Roland Deschain, The Gunslinger, from Stephen King's The Dark Tower series.

For those of you that didn't see the post regarding the early reveal of my character, I was Luna Lovegood (though I don't feel I did her justice, bleh) from Harry Potter. (though, in hindsight, Hermione would have been a better choice, considering we're in a library. Ah, well.)

*bows to Remiel's demands*

And other people's demands.  I'll run the theme again a little later on, once Analise's game starts winding down.  So everyone can ponder new characters.  ;D

Here's the play by play, which, short as it is, is still fascinating:

Day one:
Marguerite, a Protagonist, is lynched.

Night one:
The Antagonists target FoamWeber, a Protagonist.
The Detective investigates Imogen, an Antagonist.
The Matchmaker makes FoamWeber and Kyrsa the Lovers.
The Guardian protects himself.

Day two:
Imogen, an Antagonist, is lynched.

Night two:
The Antagonist targets Remiel, the Guardian.
The Detective investigates That Girl Analise, the Matchmaker.
The Guardian protects himself.
The Alchemist targets Beguile's Mistress, an Antagonist.

I've never seen that particular situation with the Cupid role, and probably never will again.  When I realized what had happened, I spent several seconds blinking at the screen in amazement.  Heh.  But all the good luck was with the Protagonists, and all the bad with the Antagonists, so not a very long game, unfortunately.  Still, I'm glad you all enjoyed it, and I'm sure the next one will be longer.  :)

And here, in no particular order, is the cast list with characters and special roles, as applicable:

That Girl Analise - Luna Lovegood (Matchmaker)
---
FoamWeber - Miss Marple
---
Remiel - Jack Sparrow (Brave Soldier)
---
Marguerite - Phantom
---
Ryven - John Taylor
---
Moirae - Titania (Mysterious Killer)
---
Leorobin - Allan Quatermain
---
Kyrsa - Arya Stark (Antagonist)
---
Imogen - Jack Reacher (Antagonist)
---
Beguile's - Rebecca DeWinter (Antagonist)
---
Kendra - Hercule Poirot
---
Aiden - Dr. Watson
---
Falanor - Roland Deschain (Forthright Detective)
---
Josietta - White Queen

I think I figured out Leo was Quartermain and Analise was Luna, but sadly, that's all I did.

There wasn't enough time for many of the characters to be developed.

I think we all were waiting for more development before people being knocked off.
