Japanese lab invents Internet kissing machine

No, no -- not a machine for kissing the Internet.  They haven't invented one of those yet (though I do remain hopeful).  It's a machine for kissing other people via the Internet.

Extra points if you wear these while gettin' your smooch on:

Enjoy!

I want one of these, but only if it has something attached to the straw that is like a tongue or something that feels like it.

The researchers seem to realize that most people might not exactly find licking a plastic tube a suitable replacement for sucking face. But there are refinements on the way, they say.
"The elements of a kiss include the sense of taste, the manner of breathing and the moistness of the tongue," Takahashi said. "If we can re-create all of those, I think it will be a really powerful device."
