I understand there are countless technologies out there as well as magics, but we'll try to keep everything fair in this game as much as possible. The silent guardians will help in this should anything get too out of hand, but beyond that myself and Firefights do have the final say in any disputes that come up that don't clear up in a couple of posts, just to get that out of my system. Anyway, here's a new favorite that's been popping up recently here on E, straight from me to you. Enjoy. The OOC, Character Thread, and the IC thread will be created in due time, either tomorrow or later since I doubt it'll be ready tonight anytime soon.
Name: Randall Kalsion.
Age: 900 years old.
Race: Drachni. (Alien.)
Position Within the Brothel; Headmaster of the Nexus.
Eye Color; Pitch black iris-less eyes. (Drachni norm.)
Hair Color; Blue and black skin, no actual hair.
Hair Style; None.
Jewelry; He has a universal translator embedded in his cerebral cortex, allowing him to talk to any and all life forms, both alien and mystical alike. Beyond that, a hidden microphone/holographic communicator that is in the form of a simple silver pendant that is part of a matching set, (which the Headmistress has the other one,) used only in emergencies so offenders can be dealt with as quickly and as quietly as possible, but it is not unheard of for them to be used for other things. A personal shield generator on his right hip, and a Drachni stunner that is able to knock a Frost Giant out in one shot, let alone a human.
Tattoos/Scars/or any other distinguishing marks; A couple of scars are visible on his back and chest from the many battles he has seen in his long life.
Year Born: According to Earth's calendar, since it is quite similar to the Drachni version, he was born on the year of our Lord in 1105 A.D.
Home World: Formerly of Drachnis 8 before it's destruction.
Plane of Existence; (More or less based around a combination of Star Wars and Mass Effect.)
Racial Traits; All Drachni are born with the innate ability to create tentacle like appendages that can serve both as mating implements or weapons since they are able to make seven foot long blades appear out of the ends of each one. You can tell a Drachni's age by how many tentacles he lets loose and multiplying by fifty for each one. They are faster, stronger, and far more agile and long lived than most races save for the Asari and elven nations because they were once born on a gravity heavy world. Not only that, but their biological makeup allows them to recover from wounds much easier than other races, but a shot to the face to having their heads or vital organs damaged beyond repair still kills them as any other species. A fully trained Drachni however is a dangerous enemy to have should you earn their wrath because of their devastating presence on the intergalactic battlefields of today because they are masters of both close quarters and firearms of all sorts by trade. Beyond this however, when they do mate for the first time and they've been raised properly of course, they choose only one mate for life of the opposite gender once they find that perfect woman. Mostly that is another Drachni, but it wasn't unheard of for males to find women of other species, especially after their home was destroyed six hundred years ago.
Special Abilities: All Drachni, the young or the old, can make very sharp seven foot long blades appear out of their tentacle appendages with a simple thought and some practice. Beyond that however, they are very dangerous fighters and are able to pick up different techniques quite quickly to devastating effect.
Personality: Randall has seen his homeworld be destroyed six hundred years ago, but after meeting the perfect woman, was able to save his race from the very brink of extinction ten years afterward. Now, in the golden years of his life, (when Drachni males and females both tend to think about settling down,) he has done just that although....not in the traditional manner however. Honorable to the point any promises he makes he feels compelled to keep, (a trait common in all Drachni, good or otherwise), Randall is compassionate, warm, and generally friendly to everyone. Cross him or hurt anyone he has taken under his wing however, and be prepared to reap the whirlwind.
On's/Off's: O/O page.
Biography: Randal Kalsion was three hundred years old when Drachnis 8 was completely obliterated in one fell swoop. The nearby star that served as the planet's sun was sent into a devastating supernova that literally ripped his home to pieces before the pieces turned to dust in turn. His world gone, he wandered for ten long years, hoping to find release in death brought on by combat. Instead, he met a human woman that changed his life forever, and who helped him immensely in the efforts to rebuild his race, with himself being the sole survivor when Drachnis 8 had been destroyed by Wraiths. His people, while always prepared for war, were not the war mongering type at all, but rather were simply ready to defend what was there at a moment's notice. Their cities were akin to a technological Garden of Eden since both tech and nature worked together in their way of life. Their weapons and ships were the same, organically grown yet harder than any known metals out there, and their soldiers the best in any situation, (those that made it that far anyway), they were the best that every species that favored peace wanted to be like. Of course, they weren't perfect by any means, and they'd be the first to say so if asked. Regardless, it would be many grueling years of hard work but eventually Drachni's Hope was formed on a planet similar to their lost home, from which the renewed Drachni species spread out from there. It wasn't long before they were back to twenty billion souls, and beyond once they figured out how to terraform other worlds to fit their needs, a technology they shared with old allies who had lent their support when Randall had called on them once the was no longer the last of his kind.
While he was hailed a hero, along with his life mate Tori, they never stayed put for very long. Eventually she died of old age, but Randall remained, still doing all he could to make sure such a catastrophe was never repeated. Having seen many strange things in his travels, being sucked through a black hole in his cruiser, his engines disabled one of the few Wraith Hive Ships left, which had suffered far more damage in the resulting fight, landed Randall in the Nexus, where he has remained for as long as Surelia has. Together, they have formed the Nexus Brothel, where alien and magic combine in many interesting ways.
