Eek! A monster slayer!? Those people are always confusing me as something evil! Who would confuse someone as cute as me as evil? Life is so unfair!

Hahaha, I'm beginning to wonder if we're all after the same sort of campaign; but here's my concept (in brief) anyway!

Vladimir Cross

Race: Human
Class: Inquisitor
Deity: Iomedae
Alignment: Lawful Neutral

Vladimir is a knight of the Church of Iomedae, but he was not always so. Born a peasant, to peasant stock, Vladimir had the mostly-happy, sometimes hard, childhood that most farming folk have in a world where they're at the bottom of the heap. Just like most born into peasantry, Vladimir might have lived this life from birth to death, if not for unhappy circumstances and the intervention of fate.

Vladimir's family, and village, were preyed upon by the undead. Those foul, horrifying creatures, and those who would manipulate them, came and claimed the village and the lives of its people. Vladimir was one of those who managed to escape the onslaught, but his family was not so lucky. He joined Iomedae's Church not long after, where he was trained as a knight and inquisitor.

The experience has left Vladimir cynical and jaded, and he can be somewhat of a dick as a result of this. But there is no question that, charisma-issues aside, he is a knight of Iomedae; and he will always protect the innocent and bring low those who seek to victimize them. Just because his favorite part is the "bringing low those who seek to victimize them" part doesn't make him a bad guy, does it?

Anyway, I'll flesh out the concept a little more and put together a sheet once I've decided whether or not I'm going to be able to play here (with my other games and time constraints being the main question)! You can take me off the party list until I commit, if you'd like, so that there's room for others if I waffle too long on the issue. I'll try to come to a decision A.S.A.P.

I like it . . I like it a lot

Why do you like him? Those religious zealots are always chasing after me and wanting to do so many naughty violent things to me! It is such a hassle!

Ah, but they are so passionate about their. . . beliefs.  And . . sexy?

I on the other hand am trying to decide between ranger and bard . . I'm stuck :p

I'm looking at something called a shadowdancer now too . . . We'll see I've never looked into pathfinder before.  And I looked at the character sheet and whimpered.  I haven't made a character sheet in nearly 7 years.  I'm not sure I remember how. :P

As for grime . . who said grime wasn't sexy?!

Just ask Genbu . . I'm all good with grime. :P

I'm glad you like the concept, Kaitlyn! I assure you, he is very passionate. As far as "sexy," though ... ;) Well, maybe when he's not covered in grime and gore.

You need not worry, either, Nicci; your character will not offend Vladimir's sensibilities. Too much.

As fallensaviour points out, we do have one ranger already. Although if you both work together, you could probably go different routes with it (perhaps Kaitlyn's character could be bow-focused, with fallen's character acting as a front-liner). I say go with what you'd most enjoy playing, concept-wise, and not worry too much about party dynamics.

Bards are always useful, though, so if you've got a good idea for one, I'm sure we'd all love to hear it!

I don't trust you at all! Those perverted charismatic people, always wanting to see me naked and inspect for any illegal drugs. Where would I be hiding drugs on my person anyway!?

l . . my character sheet is going to have to wait until Genbu can help me, I've officially lost any knowledge I've had on how to do this.

On the other hand, that means I can work on back story!

It is . . whiiiich is why I'm not doing it :p

Basicly, I'm just plain dumb in the whole character sheet/stats stuff now.  Apparently having children killed all of teh fun compartments of my brain.

Party is lookign good so far. Chrono it'd be a blast to have you. Hoewever I understand time constraints. Let me know, but I'll leave you on the list for now. Don't mind Nicci, she likes mixing her adventures and "naughty time", but she still builds effective and fun characters. Kay's a little out of the pen and paper crowd, but I'm sure with our help, she'll be fine.

I'll take a look at her sheet. Though, I won't overly optimize her. Just make sure everything is in order.

What is left to fill role wise?

Maybe a Halfling-without-a name Gunslinger or a Teifling Magus? :D
