It's about time I run a group game on E!
Not far from Oak's Valley...
...Crimsonwing Manor, has been showing lights on moonless nights for nigh a fortnight. Since the appearance of activity in the old home of Baron Eric Fawkes; animals are being butchered, crops are starting to rot, and the river is running foul. Several villagers have dissappeared in the past two weeks; the blacksmith's son, a barmaid, the local priest, and the mayor's wife. The town has appealed for an investigation and aid in ending their stroke of misfortune...
The premise, obviously enough, is to figure what's wrong in the town and possible save it from horrific doom. The game world is already set up by myself, as this is to test a campaign I will be running as a Free RPG Day promotion. Though that beign said I've extended the campaign depending on how the party plays and fairs.
What I'm looking for:
- A 3 to 5 character party
- Regular Posting (once a day, nothing too demanding)
- Creative Thinkers, basically people to look for unorthodox uses of abilities and to solve puzzles by thinking outside of the box.
Character Generation:
-20 point buy
-Paizo material prefered (including current playtests), but willing and able to convert 3.5 stuff
-Starting at 3rd Level
-Traits allowed: 2
-Maximum Wealth (Class + 3000)
About the Campaign:
-Very Castlevania/Van Hellsing influnced. Traps, dungeon crawls, and fighting monsters will be the focus of the gameplay.
-Puzzles/Traps have multiple solutions. This challenges me as a gamemaster and let's the player ands and myself have freedom to experiment.
-I'm an experienced GM, but I'm not out to destroy you. I might not make things easy, but I'm not going to set you up to fail.
-Have fun...this is E! so I will remove my usual PG-13/R Rating I have on home campaigns. Though that being said, the focus of the game is to get the monsters, not to bed the monsters. Party members keep your flings to Pms. Hwever feel free to allude, use inuendo, or blatanty boast about your exploits. Gamewise though, most scenes of the carnal nature slow the game or distract other players, if not halting the game completely.
