*giggling* Hugging devils

Ok, so I was flipping through my old 2nd Edition Planescape monster manual, for the art. Seriously, the artwork for Planescape was amazing. Anyway, I reached the "Baatezu" (Devils, the Lawful Evil fiends) section and found the Hamatula (Barbed Devil).

As the name suggests, they are covered in barbed spines. In 3rd edition, they gain an "Impale" attack. But in second ed... they get a "Hug" attack. Yep, a hug. Sure, they're covered in spikes, but still, "the devil hugs you!" doesn't strike fear into my heart. Indeed, I remembered one of my favourite Caturday (lolcats) pictures...

Immediately, I had to grab a picture of a Hamatula from the Internet. One application of Photoshop later...

*still giggling* Devils just want their hugztiem!
