Killing Kind International Crime Drama--Dudes Desired!
« on: May 09, 2011, 09:23:39 AM »
This is a recruitment ad for Killing Kind, an international crime drama featuring a competition to become chief Bratva (Russian mafia) enforcer. We need more MALE characters currently.

Rick957 is the GM for this game, and I'm one of the newest recruits.

Currently the game is set in Belgium at a high class whorehouse that has been taken over by the Bratva and forced to kidnap and enslave beautiful young people in order to have them auctioned off at a later date to the highest bidder.

Do you like intrigue?

Power struggles?

This game may be the game for you IF you can post at a minimum of once per week AND you don't mind reading the occasional lengthy post.

If you have questions about the game or would like to join, please PM Rick957 about your character ideas. He should stop by this thread shortly and say howdy so you can PM him more easily.

If you'd like to check out the game, here are the links you need:

Character Thread--provides the profiles of player characters (some of whom have dropped out of the game permanently or semi-permanently) and a plot summary of the game thus far (you needn't read all the posts  to catch up--the summary will update you and rick can answer any other questions you have).

IC- Game Thread

OOC Thread--in case you want to pop in and say hi while you discuss character creation with rick.

You should follow the character sheet template that you see in the Character Thread.

Come have fun with the Killing Kind players!

This is going to sound crazy, but after reading the back story (at least, some of it-- a lot of it doesn't make sense in summary, you know), is it possible to make a Delta-Six member that's proficient with a bow?

PhantomPistoleer -- sent you a PM.  A bow specialist could work fine, as long as you understand that combat scenes are only part of the game, so weapons preferences are only one part of having an interesting character.  (As an aside:  if you wouldn't mind, I would loooove to know more about which parts of the summary didn't make sense.  The lack of detail is deliberate, because there's no reason for anyone to know much about old developments involving players who eventually left the game.  However, even without details, the summary should make clear sense; any suggestions you can make to help me improve it would be enormously appreciated.)

To anyone else happening by
-- I'm the GM of Killing Kind and the person to contact (here or by PM) if you have any questions or would like to be considered for joining.  Roo was kind enough to set up this recruitment thread at my request, because I've done lots of recruitment threads in the past, and I figured she'd have a fresh take on the game.

Don't let the age of the game bother you; most of the older material won't affect your participation in the game, because so many players have come and gone.  The folks in the game now joined at various times, including a couple from just the last month or two.

One other important thing:  ladies and lieges are just as welcome to express interest as lords.  :)  I'd like to have more male writers in the group, but fresh faces are always welcome regardless of gender.

Hope to hear from you.  Thanks!
