Blocking Programs
« on: May 06, 2011, 07:48:05 PM »
Is it possible to block access to certain programs from your internet connection?  We want to make it so someone can't get on IMVU using our internet.  Long story....

Should be. What do you have in terms of firewall / internet security? Maybe an all in one package of antivirus and firewall / security?

We have a linksys modem and wireless router, which have firewalls.  The wireless network is also secured.

Okay, so we accessed the router settings, and used the access restriction thing to try and block it.  We used the IP adress I found posted somewhere.  Apparently a lot of people want to block this program.  I'm wondering if they changed their IP address.  If so, is there a way to find out what it is?
