elliquiy/role play ettiquette
« on: May 02, 2011, 01:05:15 AM »
Sooo...haven't been to the site in a while. But I'm back and trying to get back into it.

Would it be totally awkward and lame to try and re-vamp an old storyline with the old posters? Or is it just better to try to re-do it with new players? Would the original players be annoyed if I hit them up to ask about getting back into it? Or would they be totally bummed if I just straight up tried to re-do it with new peeps?

I'm having a triple E. EEE! Elliquiy Ettiquette Emergency.

thoughts?

Welcome back : )

I have one roleplay that seems to be shooting for an average posting rate of once a year >_>

Contact them and ask them about it?

I typically find it rather annoying when people get possessive of storyline ideas. They may have a right to be bummed if you didn't at least talk to them first and try to work something out with them - or let them go - but if things won't work out with them, there should be no issues with starting a new story with new people.

Ask them, is the simple solution.

Say you haven't been around in ages, but would like to start up the old game again. Ask if they're interested, or if they're not, would they have any objections to you reusing the idea with someone else.
