Welcome one and all.  I'll be starting a mech based besm game with the above players.  You're more than welcome to read the story as we go along, but at the moment, we aren't looking for any additional players. If that changes, I'll make sure to post something up announcing it.

don't worry about skills for now. I'll go over those later.

for now, your character doesn't have their mech.  We'll get them after a short bit. Go ahead and come up with a concept for your mech at the moment, but don't build it yet.  We'll be using the D20 manual's mech building rules.  Also, your mech doesn't have to be space-capable, but flight capable is highly advised (though not truly necessary). You will have out-of-mech battles, but your character is rather low powered (30 CP plus any defects). Choose your attributes wisely (you may use attributes from either 3rd edition or D20, though I'd reccommend D20 for the cheaper attributes, and your mech/character will be built with D20 rules(class based). I intend to level up the group slowly, though depending on what you guys do, that may change.  (after all, I promised a freeform campaign). If you have any questions, let me know.

This trusting catguy has slanted, orange eyes. He has short, straight, green hair worn in a practacal style. His fur is green with black coloration on his ears, tail, forearms, and forelegs. He has a boyish build. His ears are close-set, and his tail is bushy and carried with a curve. His fashion preferences are best described as "pin-up prettyboy." His questing eyes seem to pierce right through you.
He receives his mech, Sarge,  from an acquaintance in some military faction just.  The only stipulations his acquaintance gives him are that he keep in contact with him to relay performace specifications of the mech and to perform any and all modifications as directed by said acquaintance.  For the moment the mech is still highly unresponsive and not too effective.

Description:
The Hybrid Mark III hosts a very new, very unique blend of technologies. Most impressively it's creator was able to secure a Dark Gundam Cell and isolate it, purify it of it's maddening and infectious side effects, and adapt it into the entire system, so that the mech may now self-regenerate and instantly optimize any equipment installed into it. The body itself is comprised of a rail cannon off of a Mammoth MkII(from the Command and Conquer game series) mounted on the right shoulder. The right arm is a slightly upgraded version of the arm off of an Avatar(again from C&C), upgraded in the sense that it now looks much more fluid than the original, the left arm is that of the Dragon Gundam(from Mobile Fighter Gundam) hosting the Dragon Claws, The legs are that of the E.S. Reuben(Xenosaga, Episode 3), and the torso has been built to mimic its creators physique, very muscular in appearance, a completely original design all it's own. Another originality to this hybrid mech is it's power system, which actually comprises three different reactors, that can be switched between in the middle of combat, with a small shutdown time while the power systems switch, or in dire situationos can be linked together, with a much larger wait time due to the great caution that is needed when combining these three sources. The first reactor is a standard issue Nuclear Reactor, which has had it's efficiency drastically increased by constant tinkering combined with the effects of the now Light Gundam Cells integrated into the system. The second reactor runs on Tiberium energy(C&C).  The third reactor is still quite a mystery to it's creator, it is placed so that it comprises the "spine" of the mech and the energy it produces doesn't seem to come from any sort of reaction, The energy simply flows out of it and into the system when the connection is enabled. (In case that sounds familiar to you, it's a variation of the Vessels of Anima fom Xenosaga, however it is not linked to the Zohar).  Finally the boosters take the shape of the wing assembly from the E.S. Dinah(Xenosaga again), they also enable the mech to go into hyperspace safely without a ship.

Razzly was in the cockpit of a mech since before she could even walk.  However, to this day, she has yet to actually pilot one.  She knows her way around the systems and could probably tell you how any part of it works, but she has absolutely no experience with piloting them.  Currently, she works as a freelance mechanic fixing various mechs from commercial models to military grade weaponry. Background:
The ice princess is actually a customized version of a typical scout mech employed by the UPF forces, employing more advanced technology and weapon systems including systems for dealing with arctic conditions. As such, it has a snow camouflage pattern on it making it look more distinct, since very few models were made for that purpose.  It currently has the ability to stealth both from sight and from mechanical means.  She also has remote cameras that she can deploy to scout ahead and relay targeting information to her artillery weapons.  The scouts themselves have few defenses, other than their small size and auto-camo abilities.  Given time and materials, the mech can produce more of them, though replenishing in battle is near impossible.

Short Bio:
Ciel looks out of place no matter where she goes.  Though she is 16, she looks quite a bit younger because her species matures more slowly than most other humanoids.  As a result, she is often mistaken for a young girl and treated as such.
