Doing some house cleaning and throwing myself out again to the RP world in general. First a little about me.

My preferred stories are ones involving transformations and changes in gender.  For my characters I prefer a male to female transformation or real/semi-real transition process.  For side characters I am happy playing almost anything.

My writing style is evolving.  I am very accustomed to the shorter/faster responses of Discord and my day job includes a lot of technical writing.  The amount of description and paragraph length are a struggle for me but one I am working on daily. 

Day jobs are a thing and a huge time sink.  Current posting rate would be 2 or 3 times a week for more lengthy posts.

The year is 2040 and the small step to the moon has been made.  Corporations are eyeing Mars with or without government approval.  But the biggest hurdle in space exploration has always been weight, not distance.  Not only the weight of the crew but of the supplies necessary to keep them alive.  Studies have found that on average a female astronaut requires 26% fewer calories, 29% less oxygen and 18% less water.  Thus, a 1,080 day mission crewed by four women would need 1,695 fewer kilograms of food*.

The first mission to Mars was slated to depart with an historic all female crew.  But what happens when one or two needs to be replaced?  And the only person(s) with the necessary skills don't meet the one key requirement?  Well you make them fit.

CPT Samantha Harris was a legacy. Her father was GEN Harris. She had gotten her appointment to West Point, tutors, choice of branch, everything a young officer could want. Choice assignment out of the Academy. From the outside it looked like she was destined to follow in her father’s footsteps. Battalion to Brigade to a general officer billet in record time.

But sometimes a last name and a pretty face aren’t all you need. Her first command was falling apart. How would it look for her to be relived on her first command? And one did not simple relieve a commander with her pedigree without serious repercussions. The only answer was to replace her. The guys down in R&D had some interesting toys. Just swap her body with one of the older, more seasoned soldiers. Get through command and put it all back. No one had to know and it would save a lot of scrutiny.

It was an easy job but something was different this time. There had been dozens before Budapest.

“What do you mean she failed?” the director questioned the agent.

Days later, Janet woke up in a small hotel room. Stumbling to the mirror. It was a face she had seen everyday but it was more and more alien. It felt wrong now. The bandage on her shoulder needed to be changed, again. Every since the mission had gone south she had memories that weren’t hers.


“James” she said softly. It was the name she remembered from her dreams. But it wasn’t someone she knew. It was her….her before she joined the program.
