[A4GM] DARKSEID WAS! (Absolute DC).

Anybody else think of Dracula Flow when they see ‘...I am Him?’Hi there. I am a lukewarm DC fan who has recently gotten into the Absolute comics; which is to say the continuity of the All In storyline that lead to Darkseid’s reimagining of the universe to reflect his desire to see life struggle to continue.


Like many people I was enamored by the imagery of Diana riding around on a skeletal horse with a Guts-ass sword, but found myself falling into a strange hole of cosmological warfare, Darkseid tearing through the omniverse in search of purpose, Zatanna looking hot in the background, and finally Superman and Darkseid longingly lasering each other’s eyes until they birth a cosmos like the world’s most abstract m-preg.


It was really good. Good enough that I immediately felt inspired to create this prompt.


‘This prompt’ in question is an exploration of that universe through what I hope to be a natural continuation of the vibe of the setting, seen through the eyes of a spawnling of Darkseid… and Superman.


Correct. That insinuation of homoeroticism was not just an attempt at humor.


The spawn in question is also not a very fortunate being, nor obviously created in any conventional fashion. I’m thinking that they’re something along the lines of Darkseid attempting to create a being to ‘replace’ them and their former role in the multiverse. 


This creature is not powerful. Darkseid demands challengers to the status quo be underdogs. It may have a special place in his cold heart, but its existence will not be easy.


I’m playing very fast and loose here with yet undefined lore and a lack of desire to be strict to canon, but I am imagining a being that is a combination of Superman & Darkseid’s qualities reimagined in a new universe, initially a disgusting set of chromosomes and barely functioning organs, forced to stay alive through science and technology with its flesh being remade into a more humanoid form. Pretty, even. Their magic is odd and not the sort of ‘overcome whole armies’ that Clark & Uxas were capable of. 


So far I’ve been imagining them as a velvety figure, a being that is unfamiliar with human interaction but appreciates them in their own alien intelligence fashion, and has a sort of Black Phillip (the movie VVitch) voice with distinguished but highly forward mannerisms. The plot is highly mutable, but my running theory is that they’re a being that’s been ‘assigned’ to the likes of the League of Assassins or Vandal Savage’s organization as part of an alliance, a cruel trick on Darkseid’s part to bless them with one of his ‘children’ and receiving a tumorous growth that they transform into something useful, employing them on their faction’s behalf for their given respective ambitions.


If you’ve noticed a lack of gendered nouns so far that has been entirely purposeful as, unless my partner objects, my ideal version of this being is one that’s genderfluid or does not recognize the concept of a gender to begin with. They may in fact be able to freely change between a more masculine and feminine form as the desire strikes them. 


When it comes to sexy stuff I’m penning them as a massive switch that isn’t picky about their partners and is straightforward with their desires. After a small nation’s GDP was spent on ‘fixing’ them they’ve formed into a pleasant enough figure that they rarely have problems finding playmates between their uniquely soft voice and cute, red eyes. They can be the service dominant or the pillow prince(ss) of anybody’s dream; I am fond however of spankings, unusual relationships and scenarios, crack ships, kissing, genuine romance and chemistry, uniquely odd sexually charged situations. Loyalty, oral sex (giving and receiving to any genitalia), dominants who aren’t tyrants in bed. Good vibes & energy (especially when a participant is a drop of blood from the world’s greatest evil and terror). 


Like many others I was hooked on Diana with Guts’ Dragonslayer sword, but after reading a fine chunk of All In & Absolute Wonder Woman I’ve decided I like the cosmology enough to make a prompt. I’d like to create a story where we follow the **extraordinarily weak in comparison, our character is not especially powerful…yet** omniversal reincarnation of Darkseid in Alternia -  If Darkseid has become Him then the universe requires a replacement; thus, our main character, a Black Phillip (VVitch) sounding figure of unimpressive stature, nearly dying at birth, and given to one of the villainous organizations that reside on Earth as a ‘gift’ to assist in their ambitions.


I have a lot of wildly different, ambitious ideas for this prompt and how our MC is tied to the ebb of the universe they inhabit, many of which I’d like to discuss and propose for my partner’s considerations (even if they say no.)
