Her name is Susan Rosenberg, the US President who pardoned her for it Bill Clinton, and the riot-organizing (remember the burnings, lootings, and killings last summer while everyone else was being told to stay at home?) group she does administration and fundraising for is Black Lives Matter.

Amazingly, this hasn't been removed from Wikipedia (yet).

...I'm not certain what purpose this thread has other than to literally start a fight in the politics board.

There's enough fighting going on without adding gasoline to the mix.

I'll state two things before closing this thread:

* No organization is going to be perfect. Yes, Black Lives Matter as a movement is going to have its share of controversial or problematic figures in it. This does not, on the whole, de-legitimize their very real grievances on how black members of society are treated by law enforcement, courts, etc., regardless on how you view Rosenberg as an individual.

* Given what happened on Jan. 6th, 2021, and given the fears of further violence and insurrections, this thread seems as though its meant to either imply such people now should receive pardons or implies justification of the Capitol violence. Fun fact: It doesn't.

Let's be honest. We all know that if the crowds on January 6th had been predominantly people of color, the manner of response from law enforcement would have been different.

More violent, for one.

This thread won't go anywhere good in the current political climate. It probably wouldn't go anywhere good even in a decent political climate.

Thread closed. Don't make another one like this.
