The Forgotten Shores

Tales speak of rich, prosperous lands to the West, far across the Great Ocean. But there are reasons Tales remain Tales and not Truth. No one has ever found these forgotten shores and returned alive. Many a ship has sailed off into the sunset, never to be seen from again. Other ships have returned as ghost-ships - their crews missing and no sign of what has happened to them. Such ships are immediately put to flame - no one wants their ill luck spreading to their ships.

That has never stopped anyone from trying - the fame and wealth to be had is too irresistible to pass up! So much so that the Kings Son - against all advice - set sail for these lands. Three ships sailed with the Prince and not one ship has returned in over a year. The King, already in a frail state, has lost his mind (some would say) and has now commissioned ships to set sail for the West and find the Prince, to bring him home.

The Swallow is one such ship, an assortment of mercenaries filling her ranks. The journey was long and hard, but seeing land on the horizon lifted everyones spirits. They had found the lands to the West! Such joy was to be short lived, however, a squall hitting them in the middle of the night. The Swallow was battered against the rocks and sunk. Had anyone survived? Would they be able to survive in this foreign, mysterious land??
