My Star Wars obsession has kicked into high gear of late between watching Clone Wars for the first time, getting back into playing The Old Republic (MMO) again after many years away from it, and the news of a KOTOR remake. The creative juices have been flowing to an extreme level and produced a number of story ideas I will list below. Now, these ideas are not mutually exclusive and if I came across an ambitious partner who wanted to include several of them in a singular RP, or even search out for a group I'm very much open to it. But, just as well, if a prospective partner wants to just focus on one particular idea or a few I'm game to explore that as well. I'm going to be splitting this into two categories that focus on specific characters and their potential story arcs, some of which are characters I would like to play and others are concepts of character my partner could play.

Characters for me...

Iden Kheem, The Codeless Jedi

Iden is a free soul trapped within the constraints of the Jedi Order... or at least he was. Iden came to join the Jedi rather late in life, nearly 10 years old, growing up on the notorious prison world of Belsavis. He was born into imprisonment, the son of Pirate Queen Tela Kheem and a father who Iden never met. Tela often speculated, but had too many trysts with fellow prisoners and guardsmen alike to say for sure. Though considering Iden's strength in the Force, perhaps it could've been a force-sensitive lover. Tela taught Iden nothing but survival as a child, as Belsavis is a brutal place by it's nature and only the strongest survive.

Iden's force sensitivity was discovered when he used it to push a acklay away from his mother and a group of guardsmen, stunning the beast long enough for it to be killed. The Jedi Order was informed of Iden's abilities and though he was far older than the order preferred, they deemed it best to take him in rather than risk his abilities developing in such a dangerous place and all of the potential damage he could wrought if he went down the wrong path. Unsurprisingly Iden proved to be independent and resistant to teachings, but found his home in the sparring yards and excelled as a duelist, mastering 5 of the 7 forms and becoming proficient with a single lightsaber, duel lightsabers, and a doubled bladed saber in equal measure, and preferring to wear armor beneath his robes unlike most other Jedi.

However, this excellence in martial prowess came at the cost of pursuits of the mind, at least those the Jedi deemed suitable for a young padawan. He enriched himself in military history and debates over the nature of the Force itself, the nature of love and attachment intrigued him the most. Iden was granted the rank of Knight at 19, the hope being that such responsibility to guide the young man further to the light, however the added freedom only entrenched Iden further in his predisposed beliefs that  there was no "light" and "dark" side of the Force, and that the Force is simply what you manifest it to be. A reflection of all your vices and virtues, churning together and bounding off each other. To keep one's self in balance was to recognize all of the self's strengths and weaknesses and to not allow any one of them to overtake the whole. Iden was brave, selfless in regard to his life and the protection of others. And yet he was prone to lust and other short lived pleasures that other Jedi strove to rise above. For many years now Iden has considered leaving the order entirely, and when he meets Your Character, that final nudge will push him over the edge.

The Period and Story: Iden's story could take place at really any time period of SW prior to Order 66, or potentially even during or shortly after it. Though I have a slight preference perhaps for The Old Republic period. I picture Iden's story being one of freedom and self discovery. Iden will fall in love with my partner's character. I picture this female character to be a non-Forcer user but am open to her being one herself, especially so if she is Sith. But if I had my druthers this female character would be a smuggler, bounty hunter, AWOL republic or imperial trooper, etc. Someone from a distinctly different walk of life. Iden's love for this character drives him to abandon the order and take up a lifestyle that supports her. If she is a Smuggler or whatever, he will adopt that sort of life, doing his best to keep his Jedi background a secret and only using a lightsaber when necessary.

Long term my goal is for Iden to become convinced his philosophy is the one of true balance, and he starts a small grass roots Force order and takes on new acolytes/apprentices and eventually draws the ire of the Jedi who label him a heretic and anathema and attempt to destroy him and his new order.

Kinks: Iden believes in free pleasure of the body. In his philosophy, attachment through love only leads to the dark side if you covet the physical part of a lover. Love of the mind and soul is uncorruptable by the dark. Thus one should not covet another's body, meaning Iden is OK with and a proponent of open sexual relationships. His partner is free to pursue bodily pleasure with others as is he, and he is not shy about doing so. Early in the story this could mean Iden or his partner have sexual encounters with random characters they encounter, or frequently have threesomes and the sort.

Darth Tormen/Rit Exum, The Grand General

Born as Rit Exum on the Mandalorian controlled planet of Gargon to Phobium miner parents, Rit was conscripted into Mandalorian training during a time of war. Because the Mandos have fought so many damn wars this could be virtually any time period in recorded history dating back to the Taung. Rit was an exceptional young recruit and learned the traditional Mando'a style of warfare and combat. He proved himself early and in the aftermath of a battle caught the eye of an allied Sith named Lord Antellon who keenly felt the force potential in young Rit.

Rit's apprenticeship to Antellon was tumultuous, as Rit was accustomed to the freedom and individuality that came with Mandalorian training, while Antellon demanded strict adherance to his tenets and teachings. Rit's mastery of the Force grew exponentially in a matter of years and when opportunity rose, Rit was quick to be rid of his master and usurp him, becoming a lord of the Sith.  Rit's Mandalorian training made him an ideal commander for the Imperial army and year by year his reputation and renown within the army expanded. By the age of thirty-seven he was proclaimed Grand General and granted the title of Darth Tormen, though he still prefers to be called by his given Mandalorian name to his close confidants and friends.

Rit is now an aging warrior, with his days of glory far in the rearview mirror. Still a formidable warrior and famed strategist, but Rit regrets that his constant professional pursuits throughout his career has robbed him of something every Sith craves; a legacy to be remembered, a clan of his own.

Period and Story: As mentioned Rit's story could take place in virtually any periods, but certainly Old Republic era works well. Much of this story will revolve Rit, in his advanced years, looking to found Clan Rit, a Mandalorian-Sith hybrid clan that espouses not only the tenets of the Mandalorians but the Sith as well, inspired by it's founder. Rit is in search of a proper successor and interested in gaining a small but loyal powerbase, much to the chagrin of the Dark Council who have always denied Rit a place among them because of his strong adherence to Mando practices, which they consider to be culturally inferior to their own.

I'll not sugarcoat it, this is a story about conquest, breeding, and an aging man's descent into madness at the existential threat of being forgotten. My partner's main character could be some sort of loyal follower, slave, or servant to the Grand General, perhaps a prominent bodyguard or helmswoman or just a second in command. I don't think Rit has ever taken a Sith apprentice, but if you'd like to play an apprentice that could work too. However, part of this story is Rit purposefully breeding a series of women throughout the story, women he deems as suitable candidates to mother strong children and join Clan Rit in the future. He will not be faithful to your character, whether that is something she is ok with or not. Though I would prefer if your character was actively helping Rit do this and encouraged it.

Kinks: Age gap is a prominent one, as Rit is in his 50s, though I could play him into his 60s as well if my partner preferred. Breeding it also a obvious one. Rit won't be having sex with a variety of women strictly for his pleasure, but for the express purpose of pregnancy. It is also possible non-con could play a role in this story where Rit demands a women surrender her womb unto him. I could even see a scenario where he does this with a married couple.
