I've played a Hexblade from level 1 to level 20, although I didn't go Pact of the Blade to get the full effect.  They get an awful lot at level 1, but less in other levels.  People who multiclass often go that route for a level or two because of that.

The hard part is whether to take a shield vs. a versatile weapon vs. getting the War Caster feat.

Let me suggest that, instead of the two languages you have for being an Acolyte, trade out a language for card proficiency?  It definitely fits her background.

I may even suggest Charlatan as a Background to some degree, but not sure if she has that whole other identity.

Artificer is a Class, like Druid or Warlock.

Mostly all I had to do for Callie was go over all the changes between 3.5 (or PF2) and 5e, which I think I caught all of and explained.  It's a lot easier to update to a new edition than to start out fresh.

Which version of the Water Genasi did you use?  The one with the +1 to Wis or the other one?

This interests me, but I was having trouble coming up with a character.  The wizard being a prince as well gave me an idea but its a little outside your planned parameters so I thought I should get your opinion on it first.

What do you think of having a lady knight who was assigned as the wizard/prince's bodyguard/minder who tries -emphasis on tries- to keep him out of trouble.  Perhaps she's also (not so?) secretly in love with him so she's kind of jealous of his harem.  But also kind of jealous of him having a harem since she's into girls as well.
