So who else is getting in on this thing? Should we have a separate thread to set up inter-character relationships?
I will have one set up once i have the entire cast prepared. Will post the cast thread here in a bit.

To address other queries though. Aside from the people present in this thread i have 3 friend of mine who already signed up, so if everyone here is in the we have a party of eight.

Green, i am sorry, i have never seen them before so i had no idea that paizo okayed their content, could you let me read theough it a bit before i give a yay or nay though? As for the races i have made here is your general break diwn as you asked.

Ursarian- human vikings with inate shapeshifting powers
Vinshkay- humanoid bug people from a secluded island nation
Floaren- fey touched humanoid born from faire magic and plant life
Mefium- cousins to the floaren, but born of darker nature, very akin to ancient changelings in abilities and nature.
Wulfen- huamnoid wolf race, best reconized for their imposing stature as most range from 6'5" to as tall as 7'8"

Mahala Volantyne
https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=2030226
Background: Mahala was born into a large extended family of traveling gypsies, they had no home and constantly traveled. Like her family, Mahala has Fey blood in her and most at home in the forest. Apprenticed at a young age to Mahala's grandmother, priestess of Desna and matriarch of the family, Mahala learned the trade and religion. Soon it was time for her initiation, taking her wagon, she started to explore the world on her own. Stopping every once in a while to ply her trade as a fortune-teller, healer and priestess.

Prior Relationships: TBA

Equipment bought with Gyspy Wagon (Woohooo!!!) and language done.
Choice is but an Illusion. Consequences are however real.

GreenFlame

Oh, plant races! Let's hear more about Floarens and Mefiums.

Pizo doesn't ok content beyond PFS-legal, but PFS-legal is just for their own content and few things from 3.5e.

ravinwulf

Again, i will take a look at it.

As for the two races you asked about.
They are both born from fey magic and plant life, but have wildly different aspects and out looks. Floarens are bright and colorful in appearance, almost akin to dryads in how their skin and hair takes plant like features. There is maybe 1000 in total at any one time so the birth of a new floaren usually means one has died. The com7nity as a whole tends to help raise a newborn . They also have innate druid abilities

As for mefiums, they are the ancient changelings of English lore. Child snatchers and pranksters. Born of a darker magic than their kin they take forms far more beastial or even demonic with claws and horns. They are in fact skilled shape changers and deceivers. When one is born adults of its race atempt to replace the infant of another race, usually choosing sickly infants that may go unnoticed.

GreenFlame

Oh, so we got plant genomes that may actually have reasonable racial traits and some dark changelings. Yeah, both sound lovely and since we got a Monk and Cleric, I may think about a cha-caster so perhaps a Floren?

Arcanist, anthem, roman, sounds like you three have your concepts ready. Any final details to be discussed bring to me via 0M.

Runa Leif

Runa is a somewhat typical Ulfen woman, but a trace of giant's blood blesses her with a powerful frame and a hearty constitution. Runa is a gentle giant. She holds a very kind disposition with friends. She's however very capable of taking advantage of her imposing stature to intimidate those she opposes. Runa was raised in the city of Halgrim, a great city of the Lands of the Linnorm Kings. At a young age, she left home, with her parents' blessing, on a pilgrimage to honor her gods and to find her calling. She worships Gorum and Desna.

There are more details in the sheet. There's a space to set up connections with other characters, and I would love to give her some connections.

If this is all good can I post it to the cast thread ravinwulf?

ravinwulf

To all players, i have a doscord set up for tracking my notes as well as discussing the game with a few collieges, would anyone like the link as to speed up the discussion a bit?

Discord sounds great.

How the rarity level for firearms? I'm thinking about a gunslinger.

ravinwulf

GreenFlame

Not an answer I was looking for, pf has a scale starting at No Guns, then Very Rare Guns, Emerging Guns, Commonplace Guns and ends at Guns Everywhere. So.. will that be like Commonplace Guns or maybe Emerging Guns?

AAAA, I just realized there will be a need to track ammunition when going ranged. That's why I never go ranged martial. You goto to track the arrows/bolt/bullets or whatever the weapon of choice is.

Sorry, yes, emerging guns. For some reason i couldn't remember the scale so i went with the comparison a friend drew prior.

Name: Darian Edward James Lancaster the second
Race: Human
Class: Oracle/Sorcerer

Darian is the first born son of a relatively minor noble.  While his father holds the title of Duke it is less for political power, resource rich land, large populations or any of the typical reasons to grant someone a title.  It's for personal power.  For as long as anyone can remember the Lancasters have practiced a sort of magical eugenics, only allowing their sons and daughters to marry and produce heirs with other spellcasters.  In fact, this has led to a fluctuation of their standing as they have made it a point to prioritize magical ability over station or even species.

Yes, if you can cast spells powerful enough to impress them, you too can become a Lancaster.

It isn't all sunshine, rainbows and thaumaturgical nonsense, however.  The Lancasters have fashioned themselves as the perfect nobles, willing and able to clean up their own messes and having a reputation for being utterly pragmatic.  Still, for all of that, they are steadfast servants of their kingdom, plying their magical arts in support of the crown, feeding power into the aristocratic structure that they, themselves, benefit from.

The most recent scion of the family, Darian, is one of the rarest of all spellcasters, able to call upon both divine and arcane magic without the need for years of study from a book or a god to worship.  Although he's no archmage by a long shot, the potential is there and Darian is more than ambitious enough to make the most of his powers.

Despite the chaotic flow of energy through him, Darian is a straight-laced individual.  Calm, even courteous, he nonetheless leaves most people with a sense of unease.  He's unwilling to touch others in most circumstances, hateful of germs or anything 'disgusting'.  One would not characterize him as obsessed with beauty so much as cleanliness, often casting Prestidigitation on people in order to clean them up before talking to them.  He can also be blunt and harshly biting in his words, earning a reputation as 'that pompous, cold as a corpse jack-ass', but who cares what his mother thinks?

He doesn't have a lot of friends.

ravinwulf

Just doing a check in. I plan to make the first post very soon. Anybody else ready to go?

oh, I'm still far from completing my build, should I just bow out on this one or would you guys be fine if I join late?

ravinwulf

You can join at any point in the first two weeks, but until you have a complete character i will be moving the plot as though you arent here.

Roman100

Hey, thanks for agreeing to my character concept by my workload is increasing at my job which is where I do most of my posting. It looks like it might be a several month situation so I need to bow out for now. If it changes I'll reapply then and see if there are openings.  Thanks again!
